Electrical and installation
Power comes from an extruded aluminum hardwire box housing a 170mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver with 100-135V AC input. Three "Quick connect" push-in terminals make wiring fast, and an 18" (457 mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links driver to fixture — approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings. Cut a Ø 2 3/4" (70 mm) hole, make your connections, tuck the box above the ceiling, squeeze the clips and set the gimbal. Because the fixture is IC rated for direct contact with insulation and suitable for wet locations, it suits insulated attics, soffits, covered porches and shower ceilings alike.
