Motion Sensors

Motion Sensors

Lights that respond to people save energy and add everyday convenience. Motion sensors detect movement and switch lighting on when a space is occupied, then turn it off after a set delay once the area is empty. They eliminate forgotten lights in low-traffic rooms and provide hands-free illumination when your arms are full.

Types and Options

Passive infrared sensors react to body heat in their field of view, while microwave and dual-technology sensors detect subtle motion, even through light partitions. Wall switch sensors replace a standard switch, ceiling-mount models cover open areas, and fixture-mount sensors integrate directly into highbays and outdoor luminaires. Occupancy and vacancy modes, adjustable time delays and sensitivity settings let you tailor each installation.

Where to Use Them

Effective in closets, laundry rooms, garages, stairwells, washrooms, storage rooms, parking areas, warehouses and building exteriors.
