Built for real work environments
The CL-ACC-ST1-MOTION is a microwave motion sensor module rather than a simple PIR puck. Microwave detection reads movement through the space instead of relying only on body heat, which is why this technology is favoured in warehouses, parking structures and shops where temperatures swing and air movement is constant. The unit carries an antenna module, a daylight sensor and an installation hole on the same compact body, plus a PIR remote receiver so settings can be adjusted from the floor once the sensor is mounted overhead. Dimensions are given in millimetres on the spec sheet, and the lead length is 520mm, giving you room to route wiring neatly inside or alongside the fixture.
Light that reacts the way you want it to
Five parameters shape the behaviour of your LED industrial strip lights. Detection area sets sensitivity — 50% or 100% with the dial switches, or 25%/50%/75%/100% with the remote. Hold time keeps the fixture at full brightness after movement stops: 10s, 1min, 5min or 10min by dial, and 5s, 30s, 1min, 3min, 5min, 10min, 20min or 30min by remote. Daylight threshold means the sensor only activates the light when ambient brightness sits below 10Lux, 30Lux or 50Lux (or Disable, so it triggers on motion regardless of daylight); the remote adds 2Lux, 80Lux and 120Lux options. Standby period (1min, 30min, 60min or +∞ by dial) holds the fixture at a low output before full shut-off, and standby dimming level sets that low output at 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% or 100%. Set standby period to +∞ and the aisle never goes fully dark — a favourite setting for safety-sensitive racking aisles and stairwells.

Wiring and installation
Wiring follows the diagram in the spec sheet: the three colour-coded leads connect to the LED driver — Red 12V+, Black DIM- and Yellow DIM+ — so the sensor both draws its DC supply and sends its 0-10V dimming signal through the same harness. Because the setting switches are dial-based, a contractor can pre-configure a batch of sensors on the bench, then mount and connect them one fixture at a time. Mount ceiling-side for a 360° field of view up to 4m high, or wall-side for a 150° sweep down a corridor. The published coverage figure represents the maximum distance at the highest mounting height with 100% sensitivity, so lower sensitivity or lower ceilings mean a tighter, more targeted pattern — handy when you do not want a forklift two aisles over triggering every fixture.
Applications and documentation
Think warehouse racking aisles, loading docks, mechanical rooms, underground and multi-level parking, storage rooms, workshops, back-of-house corridors in retail and restaurants, and unheated Canadian garages where the -20°C to +60°C operating range matters. Anywhere a row of LED strip lights currently runs all day, an occupancy sensor with a daylight threshold and a standby dimming level pays for itself in kilowatt-hours and in fixture lifespan. The complete technical PDF (CL-ACC-ST1-MOTION SENSOR Spec Sheet) — with wiring diagram, dial settings table, dimensions and detection coverage chart — is available in the Documentation tab of this page. Review it before ordering to confirm your Canolight strip light driver accepts a 0-10V dimming input.
