Built small, built rightThe PK2000 platform was designed for millwork and masonry alike: a compact recessed puck with a brushed stainless round trim that reads as a deliberate design element rather than a light you tried to hide. The 2-side trim pushes light out in two opposing directions, which is exactly what you want on a stair riser, a toe-kick or a low wall where a downward beam alone would leave dark gaps. With an
IP67 protection rating, the housing is sealed against dust and water ingress, so the same fixture can serve an indoor pantry and an outdoor step without a second product on the order.
Light quality and colourThis SKU is the
RGB version, so the light output is colour-changing rather than fixed white — ideal for bars, theatres, display cases, feature walls and holiday accents. Output is
125 lumens from a single
1 watt LED, equivalent to a 20-watt incandescent source, with a
25º projection angle that keeps the beam tight and intentional instead of spilling across the whole surface. Colour rendering sits at
CRI >80, and the fixture is
dimmable so you can tune the level once the finishes are in.

Wiring and installationThis is a
low-voltage puck light running on
12/24 V DC, so it needs a suitable DC power supply sized for the total load of the run; at
1 watt per fixture, a single driver can feed a generous number of pucks along a staircase or a cabinet bank. Drill the recess, run your low-voltage cable through the cavity, connect and seat the puck — the round trim covers the edge of the opening for a clean finish. Respect polarity on DC, keep the driver accessible for service, and follow the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements for low-voltage wiring, especially on exterior and stair applications. Because the fixture is dimmable, plan your dimming method around the driver you choose.
Applications and documentationContractors use these pucks for stair riser lighting in condos and chalets, toe-kick and under-shelf accents in kitchens, backlit bar fronts and restaurant millwork, closet and pantry lighting, retail display cases, headboard niches and vanity surrounds. Mixing trims on one project keeps the look coherent: use the
LED puck light #2000 round 1 side where a single direction is enough, the
LED puck #2000 persienne or the
LED puck light #2000 louver when you want to shield the source from sightlines, and the
LED puck light #2000 scoop for a directional RGB wash. The full technical PDF for LCPK2000R-2S-1W-RGB-BS, with the technical drawing and the complete trim and colour ordering guide, is in the Documentation tab.
