A round trim that lights one side
The PK2000 is a family of mini recessed LED pucks available with round, square, 1-side, 2-side and louver trims. This model combines a round face with a 1-side trim: the light exits on one side, so when the puck is set in a wall or a riser, it washes the surface below and keeps the LED out of direct sight. The brushed steel finish suits contemporary exteriors, modern stairs and commercial interiors, and it pairs well with stainless railings, black metal and natural stone.
Warm light, tiny consumption
Each puck delivers 125 lumens for just 1 watt, comparable to a 20-watt incandescent according to the spec sheet. The 3000K colour temperature is a warm white that flatters wood decks, brick and landscaping, and feels relaxing in hallways and bedrooms at night. The CRI above 80 keeps colours faithful, and the 25° projection angle focuses the light for a neat effect on steps and floors. Because the puck is dimmable, you can set a subtle night-light level or a brighter setting for gatherings.
Installation and protection
The fixture runs on low-voltage DC: the spec sheet lists 12/24 V DC, so it is powered by a suitable LED driver, never directly by household line voltage. For dimming, choose a dimmable driver and a compatible dimmer. It requires a 35 mm cutout (1.378 inches), easy to drill in a riser, a deck fascia, a wall or cabinetry. The IP67 rating means it is dust-tight and protected against water, which makes it a strong choice for bathrooms, entrances, decks and steps. Plan the location of the driver and the cable runs ahead of time, follow local electrical code, and have a qualified electrician make the line-voltage connections.
