Built to disappear into the millworkThe PK2000 platform was designed for cabinetmakers and finish carpenters who want light without a visible fixture. The round trim in brushed stainless keeps a clean, modern face against white melamine, walnut veneer or painted shaker doors, and the overall body is only 50 mm / 1.967" wide by 29 mm / 1.142" deep, so it fits in shelves, valances, soffits and cabinet bottoms where a standard recessed light simply cannot go. Installation is one clean hole: a 35 mm / 1.378" cutout with a hole saw or Forstner bit, feed the lead through, seat the puck and you are done. Rated
IP67, it is comfortable in humid, splash-prone or dusty environments, which is exactly why it ends up in vanities, wet bars, walk-in showers' adjacent niches and outdoor kitchens under cover.
Light quality you actually noticeAt
3000K, this puck gives the warm white that most Canadian kitchens and bathrooms are built around — it pairs naturally with brass, oak, warm whites and quartz. The CRI above 80 means colours stay honest: skin tones in a vanity mirror, the real shade of a bottle of wine, the true grain of a cabinet interior. The 25° projection angle is the detail installers love; it creates a defined pool of light on a counter or a shelf object rather than a flat wash, which is what gives display lighting its depth. With 125 lumens from a single watt, you build brightness by adding fixtures and spacing them evenly along the run, not by overpowering one point.

Wiring, dimming and compatibilityThis is a low voltage fixture: it needs a
12/24 V DC driver or power supply sized for the total wattage of the pucks on the circuit, with a little headroom left over for comfort. Because each puck only draws 1 watt, a single supply can feed a long row under a bank of cabinets. Keep runs short and conductors properly gauged to avoid voltage drop at the far end of a long counter, and make your connections in an accessible spot — inside a cabinet or a service box — so a future service call stays easy. The fixture is
dimmable, so pair it with a dimming method compatible with your DC driver to set a soft evening level in a kitchen or a bright working level for prep. The PK2000 family shares the same 35 mm cutout, which makes mixing trims on one project straightforward.
Applications and documentationConcrete examples: a row of pucks under upper kitchen cabinets to kill the shadow on the counter; two or three inside a glass display cabinet in a boutique; a pair in a bathroom vanity toe-kick as a night light; accent points inside a wine cellar or a trophy case; step lights in a basement stairwell; reception desk fronts and restaurant banquette millwork for commercial fit-outs.
