Built small, sealed tightThe PK2000 platform was designed for millwork and outdoor detail lighting, where fixtures get bumped, washed and rained on. This model wears a round brushed stainless steel trim, a finish that looks at home on modern cabinetry, stair nosings and deck boards alike. The "1 side" (1S) trim is the key difference: one portion of the face is closed, so the light is thrown to one side rather than straight down. Point it toward a wall, a countertop, a riser or a shelf and you get a clean accent line with far less glare in the field of view. With an
IP67 protection rating, this
mini LED puck light is sealed against dust and water infiltration, which is exactly what you want in a bathroom, a shower niche surround, a patio deck or a dock.
Light quality and colourThis is the
RGB version, so the puck produces colour — red, green, blue and the mixes in between — for accent walls, bars, display cases, party decks and feature millwork. Output is
125 lumens from only
1 watt, equivalent to a 20 watt incandescent, with a narrow
25º projection angle that concentrates the beam into a tidy pool of light instead of spilling everywhere. Colour rendering is rated CRI greater than 80, so finishes, bottles, merchandise and food look natural. The fixture is dimmable, letting you drop the level for evening ambiance, and a power factor above 90 means it uses its energy efficiently in long runs.

Wiring and installationInstallation is straightforward
low-voltage recessed work: bore a 35 mm hole, feed the lead through, seat the puck and connect it to a 12 or 24 V DC supply. Because each light pulls only 1 watt, a modest driver can carry a long run of pucks — always add up the total load of your run and keep headroom on the driver. RGB models require a compatible RGB controller and matching low-voltage wiring, and any dimming or colour control must be done on the DC side of the system. In cabinetry, plan the cutouts before finishing; outdoors, keep connections in a protected junction even though the fixture itself carries an
IP67 seal. The shallow body suits cabinet bottoms, stair stringers, soffits and deck boards where depth is limited.
Applications, family and documentationHomeowners use these
puck lights for kitchen cabinets, vanity and bathroom cabinet lighting, pantries, closets, display shelving and basement stairs; contractors specify them for deck stairs, walkways, planters, docks, retail display cases, bar fronts, reception desks and restaurant millwork across Canada. The PK2000 family shares the same body and cutout, so you can mix trims on one project: the louver style with
LED puck #2000 persienne or
LED puck light #2000 louver, the directional
LED puck light #2000 scoop, or the same round 1-side trim in white light with the
4000K version. The full technical PDF for LCPK2000R-1S-1W-RGB-BS, with the dimensional drawing and the complete ordering guide, is in the Documentation tab.
