A white profile that blends in
The 85 series is a versatile LED aluminum profile, easy to install and ideal for residential or commercial projects. It is made of 6063-T5 aluminum and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. In white, reference LCPROF-85-8FT-WH-LENS-OPAQ is the natural match for white cabinets, white melamine shelving, white walls and ceilings, where a plain aluminum or black line would draw the eye. And if the decor changes, the profile can be painted to match.
Opaque lens and strip choice
The ordering guide of the series offers an opaque lens or a black lens; this model pairs the white profile with the opaque lens, which closes the channel and gives a neat, finished appearance from below or from the side. Inside, the profile accommodates and protects the majority of LED strips of the range: a white LED strip in the colour temperature of your choice for kitchens, offices and clinics, or an RGBW strip when you want both white light and colour for a lounge or a boutique window.
Mounting and installation
Mount the #85 on a surface, suspend it or glue it: the three options listed for the series cover most installations, from the underside of a cabinet to a suspended line over a reception desk. The ordering guide also lists standard or swivel mounting and end caps with or without a hole; a cap with a hole lets the power wire exit cleanly. Plan where the LED driver will be hidden, cut the strip only at its marked cut points, and have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician. Longer runs? The series comes in 16 ft, and custom fabrication is available up to 192 inches.
