Create a clean, glowing line of light with this LED aluminum profile and its opaque lens, model LCPROF-49-8FT-LENS-OPAQ. This version of the large square #49 series pairs the profile in its plain aluminum finish with an opaque lens that conceals the LED strip behind a smooth surface. Whether you search for an LED aluminum channel, extruded aluminum for LED strips or an aluminum profile for strip lighting, this is the kind of profile that turns a simple strip into a finished fixture. The 8-foot length suits single fixtures and medium runs in kitchens, offices, shops and restaurants.

The profile measures 43 × 43 mm (1.693 in), a large square format that stands out as a design element. Its channel, 39 mm wide and 20.32 mm deep, accommodates a wide range of LED strips, and the aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation to help the LEDs run cooler and last longer. It is made of 6063-T5 aluminum, and its plain aluminum finish can be painted to match your decor. The opaque lens gives a soft, uniform glow without visible dots. The profile is certified for the Canadian market and backed by a 3-year warranty.

Use it as a linear pendant over a kitchen island or a harvest table, as a bright line on the ceiling of a store, a café or an office, or as accent lighting in a condo or a basement. It is designed for surface or suspended mounting, suspension kits are available, and custom fabrication can adapt it to special projects. The plain aluminum look pairs naturally with stainless steel, glass and concrete, a favourite combination in Canadian lofts and commercial spaces. Add your LED strip and enjoy a professional result from end to end.

Aluminum profile and opaque lens together
This model combines the #49 aluminum profile, in its plain aluminum finish, with an opaque lens, so the LED strip you choose sits in a closed, neatly finished housing. The #49 series is a large square LED profile of 43 × 43 mm (1.693 in), designed for surface or suspended mounting. In this 8-foot length, model LCPROF-49-8FT-LENS-OPAQ, it suits single fixtures and medium runs where a 16-foot length would be more than you need. Its aluminum look gives an industrial, contemporary feel that works in homes and businesses alike.

Light that looks finished
Without a lens, an LED strip shows each diode as a bright dot. The opaque lens blends those dots into a uniform glow that is easier on the eyes, which is especially welcome in a suspended linear light hanging over a table. Inside, the channel is 39 mm wide and 20.32 mm deep, which accommodates a wide range of LED strips, and the aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation, drawing heat away from the strip so it can perform reliably over time.

Installation and options
The profile supports surface mounting on a ceiling or wall and suspended mounting, with suspension kits available. The ordering guide on the spec sheet also lists double-sided mounting tape and no-hole end caps, and custom fabrication is available, including custom lengths specified in inches. The 6063-T5 aluminum can be painted to match your decor. Plan your layout and the power supply location first, and have any new wiring done by a licensed electrician in accordance with the electrical code in force in your province.
