Compact by design
Few LED profiles in the range are as compact as the #80. Its ultra-slim format was created for slat walls, decorative panels and tight architectural integrations, so it fits where standard channels are simply too big. Installed along the slats, on the edge of a shelf or on a panel, it creates discreet light lines that underline the design. In black, the profile nearly vanishes on dark materials, leaving only the light.
Black finish for dark interiors
Dark kitchens, black cabinetry, walnut slat walls, home theatres and moody restaurants all have one thing in common: a bright aluminum channel would stand out. The black finish keeps the hardware in the background, and it is a smart match for black window frames, dark tile and industrial décor. Choose your LED strip for the effect you want, warm white for a cozy lounge or neutral white for a workspace, and add the opaque lens available for the series if the strip would otherwise be visible.
Mounting and installation
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum for efficient heat dissipation and accepts 8 mm wide LED strips. Surface mounting suits shelves, cabinets and walls; suspended mounting creates a floating line of light over a desk or a counter. On a shelf, place the profile toward the front edge so the light falls on the objects rather than only on the wall behind them. Plan the layout, the power supply position and the wiring path before the final slats go up. For runs longer than 8 feet, the series also comes in 16 foot lengths, and custom fabrication is available. Have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician.
