This model combines the black #49 aluminum profile with an opaque lens, giving the LED strip you choose a closed, neatly finished housing. The #49 series is a large square LED profile of 43 × 43 mm (1.693 in), designed for surface or suspended mounting. In this 8-foot length, model LCPROF-49-8FT-BK-LENS-OPAQ, it is sized for single fixtures and medium runs, where a 16-foot length would be more than you need. Its black finish frames the light with a crisp outline that suits modern and industrial interiors.

Soft, uniform light
A bare LED strip shows every diode as a bright point. The opaque lens blends those points into a smooth, uniform glow that is more comfortable to look at and more elegant, which matters for a suspended linear light above a table.
