Compact, clean and versatile
The #80 is one of the most compact LED profiles in the range. It was designed for slat walls, decorative panels and tight architectural integrations, and that same slim format makes it easy to fit under a cabinet, along a shelf or inside a closet. It can also run along the top of upper cabinets or inside a glass-front display cabinet. The result is a set of discreet light lines that look planned from the start, with an aluminum finish that blends into light cabinetry and metal accents.
The opaque lens advantage
Under a cabinet, a bare strip can reflect as a row of bright dots on a glossy counter or backsplash. With the opaque lens, the reflection shows the lens instead of the strip, and the profile looks finished even when seen from below or at eye level. The colour temperature and brightness come from the LED strip you choose: a neutral white is a common pick for kitchens and workspaces, a warm white for living areas.
Installation
The body is made of 6063-T5 aluminum for efficient heat dissipation. The profile accepts 8 mm wide LED strips and can be surface mounted or suspended. Under cabinets, install it toward the front edge to light the counter rather than the wall, and plan the power supply in an accessible, ventilated cabinet. Drill small, discreet holes at the back of the cabinets to keep the cable runs short and tidy. The 8 foot length is convenient for kitchen runs and closets; the series also comes in 16 foot lengths, and custom fabrication is available. Have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician.
