Why this combination works
The #80 is one of the most compact LED profiles in the range, with an ultra-slim format created for slat walls, decorative panels and tight spaces. This version stacks two advantages: a black finish that disappears on dark surfaces, and an opaque lens that covers the strip. Together, they turn an LED strip into a quiet architectural detail, the kind of discreet light line you notice for its glow rather than its hardware.
Comfort at close range
When a profile is installed at eye level, behind a bed, along a bench or in a niche, a bare strip can look busy. The opaque lens keeps the strip out of direct view, which makes this version well suited to spaces where people relax or sit close to the light. The same goes for a profile reflected in a mirror, a glossy panel or a window at night: the reflection shows the lens, not the strip. Choose a warm white LED strip for bedrooms and lounges, or a neutral white for a dressing room or a workspace; the light characteristics come from the strip you install.
Installation notes
The body is made of 6063-T5 aluminum for efficient heat dissipation. It accepts 8 mm wide LED strips and supports surface or suspended mounting. Behind a headboard, plan the power supply in an accessible spot, such as inside a night table or a closet, and route the cable before the headboard or the slats are fixed. The 8 foot length is easy to handle; the series also exists in 16 foot lengths, and custom fabrication is available for special layouts. Any line-voltage connection should be done by a licensed electrician.
