LED ALUMINUM PROFILE #49 - LCPROF-49-8FT-BK

A large black profile in a practical length
The #49 series is a large square aluminum profile of 43 × 43 mm (1.693 in), designed for surface or suspended mounting. This listing is the 8-foot length in black, model LCPROF-49-8FT-BK, a practical size for a single pendant over a table or an island, and for runs where a 16-foot length would be more than you need. Its black finish turns the fixture into a crisp graphic line that pairs beautifully with matte black hardware, dark wood and concrete. As an aluminum extrusion designed to be seen, it becomes part of your design.

Room for your strip and its heat
Inside, the channel is 39 mm wide and 20.32 mm deep. That generous space accommodates a wide range of LED strips, and the aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation, drawing heat away from the strip so the LEDs run cooler and keep performing over time. For a smooth glow instead of a row of bright dots, an opaque lens is available to cover the strip, a finishing touch that makes a big difference when the fixture hangs at eye level.

Mounting and customization
Choose surface mounting on a ceiling or wall, or suspended mounting with the available suspension kits for a floating linear pendant. The ordering guide on the spec sheet lists double-sided mounting tape and no-hole end caps, and custom fabrication is available, including custom lengths specified in inches. The 6063-T5 aluminum can also be painted to match your decor. Have any new wiring done by a licensed electrician in accordance with the electrical code in force in your province.
