Built small, built to lastThe #2000 puck is a miniature recessed luminaire designed to be seen as little as possible. The square bezel sits flush against the surface while the body slips into a simple 35 mm hole, so a cabinet door, a shelf edge, a toe-kick panel or a stair riser keeps its clean lines. With a 50 mm bezel, a 29 mm depth and a 27 mm body, it fits into millwork and thin panels where a standard
recessed pot light would never go. The
IP67 protection rating is the part installers appreciate most: this little
LED puck light is sealed against dust and immersion, which makes it comfortable in bathrooms, near sinks, in showers' surrounding millwork, in outdoor kitchens and in boat or RV cabinetry.
Light quality and colourThis SKU is the
RGB version: the colour of the light is adjustable through your RGB controller, from deep blue to warm amber tones, which is exactly what display cases, bars, home theatres and feature shelving need. Output is 125 lumens for 1 W of consumption, an incandescent equivalent of 20 W, and the 25° projection angle keeps the beam narrow and intentional — a pool of light on a counter, a bottle, a sculpture, a stair tread. Colour rendering of CRI >80 means finishes and merchandise look true. The same #2000 platform is also offered in 3000K and 4000K if a fixed white is a better fit for the room.

Installation and electricalBecause it is a low-voltage fixture (12/24 V DC), planning starts with the driver. Add up the wattage of every puck on the run — at 1 W each, a long row of them stays very modest — and choose a DC driver with headroom, then place it where it stays ventilated and accessible: inside a cabinet gable, above a bulkhead or in a service cavity. Drill the 35 mm cutout, check that you have at least the body depth behind the panel, feed the leads back to the driver and RGB controller, and confirm polarity before powering up. The fixture is
dimmable, so pair it with a DC dimming method compatible with your driver and controller; for RGB, the controller manages both colour and level. Keep low-voltage runs short and use adequate wire gauge to avoid voltage drop at the end of a long shelf.
Applications and documentationConcrete examples: a row of squares under upper kitchen cabinets to light the countertop, colour-changing accents inside a glass display cabinet in a boutique, discreet markers along basement stairs, a soft glow in a bathroom vanity or a walk-in closet, and RGB uplighting inside a bar or restaurant back-bar. Mixing trims on one project is easy since the cutout stays the same across the family — you can combine this square puck with the round-and-shielded versions such as the
LED puck #2000 persienne or the
LED puck light #2000 round 1 side, and match the white finish with the
3000K square puck where fixed warm white is wanted. The complete technical PDF for this model is available in the Documentation tab for dimensions, cutout and specifications.
