Small format, serious constructionThe PK2000 platform was designed for millwork and tight recesses: a compact square housing with a black trim, sized at 50 mm / 1.967" across the face with a 29 mm depth, dropping into a clean 35 mm / 1.378 inch hole. That means a hole saw, a wire, and you're done — no big pot light can, no drywall surgery. The square trim gives a sharper, more architectural look than a round puck, which is why designers pick it for stone niches, floating shelves and modern kitchen millwork. An
IP67 protection rating makes it a serious candidate for damp and wet spots where ordinary under-cabinet lighting fails, and the 3 year warranty on the fixture backs up long installs.
Light quality and RGB colourYou get 125 lumens from a single watt, an
incandescent equivalent of 20 watts, in a focused 25º projection angle that behaves like a mini spotlight rather than a flood. On a shelf, that means a defined pool of light on the object instead of a washed-out cabinet interior. Colour rendering of
CRI greater than 80 keeps skin tones, wood grain and packaging colours honest — important in retail display cases and bathroom vanities. This SKU is the
RGB version, so the same fixture delivers colour-changing light for bars, home theatres, gaming rooms, display cases and seasonal accents, with a compatible RGB controller. The fixture is dimmable, so brightness can be tuned to the room instead of running flat out.

Wiring and installationThis is a
low voltage puck light, so it needs a 12 V or 24 V DC power supply sized for the total load of your run — at 1 watt per puck, a small driver feeds a lot of points, and for RGB you add a controller between the driver and the fixtures. Drill the 35 mm cutout, feed the lead through, connect, and press the puck home. Because the depth is only 29 mm, it fits inside cabinet tops, shelf boards, stair stringers and window benches where a recessed downlight would never clear. Keep runs balanced from the supply so brightness stays even, use a dimmer compatible with your driver, and on wet or outdoor work take advantage of the IP67 rating by sealing the wire entry properly.
Applications, family and documentationConcrete examples: three pucks along a bathroom mirror niche, a row under kitchen uppers to light the counter, one per shelf in a boutique's glass display cabinet, RGB accents under a basement bar's floating shelf, or discreet markers in stair risers. If you want the same square trim in another finish or colour, look at the
square RGB puck light in white, the
3000K warm white square puck or the
4000K neutral white square puck. Within the same PK2000 family you also have louver trims such as the
RGB louver puck in black and directional versions like the
round 1 side puck light, useful when you want to aim light off a vertical surface. The complete technical PDF, with the drawing, the cutout dimension and the trim ordering guide, is in the Documentation tab of this page — worth printing before you start cutting.
