A recessed mini puck built to disappearThe
LED PUCK LIGHT #2000 SQUARE is a recessed low-voltage luminaire designed to sit flush in millwork, panels and soffits. The square white trim measures 50 mm across and the housing is 29 mm deep, with a 27 mm dimension shown on the technical drawing — compact enough for cabinet bottoms, shelf undersides, stair stringers and tight soffit cavities. The same platform is offered in round, square, 1-side, 2-side and louver (persienne) trims and in white, black and brushed stainless finishes, so an entire job can share one look or mix styles on purpose. This SKU is the square white 3000K version.
Light quality that flatters what it touchesAt
125 lumens from a single
1 W LED, this puck is an accent light, not a room light — and that is exactly the point. The
3000K warm white tone keeps kitchens, vanities and display cases inviting rather than clinical, and a
CRI above 80 renders wood grain, skin tones, food and merchandise honestly. The 25° projection angle concentrates the beam straight down into a defined pool, which is why these pucks are so good at grazing a backsplash, highlighting a shelf of glassware or marking a stair edge without shining in anyone's eyes. Incandescent equivalence is rated at
20 W, so you get the familiar look of a small halogen puck with a fraction of the draw and none of the heat build-up inside a closed cabinet.

Wiring, dimming and installationInstallation is straightforward: drill a
35 mm cutout, pass the lead, seat the puck and feed it from a
12 V or 24 V DC low-voltage supply. Because each fixture only pulls
1 W, a long run of pucks stays easy on the driver — handy when you are lighting a full wall of cabinets or a row of display cases from one location. The fixture is
dimmable, so pair it with a compatible low-voltage dimming system and you can take a display from full brightness during business hours to a soft evening glow. The
IP67 rating means it tolerates damp and splash-prone spots that ordinary cabinet lights cannot, such as bathroom vanities, shower niches, outdoor soffits, covered decks, boat and RV cabinetry.
Applications, compatibility and documentationConcrete examples: under-cabinet task light over a kitchen counter, toe-kick accents on an island, interior lighting for a glass display cabinet at a boutique or bakery, stair-riser markers in a finished basement, closet and pantry lighting, reception desk millwork in an office. Because every PK2000 trim uses the same 35 mm cutout, you can standardize one hole size across the project and choose trims by function — the
round 1 side puck for directional step and corridor lighting, the
louver puck in black for glare control, and the matching
square 4000K or
square RGB models when a zone calls for cooler light or colour. The full technical PDF spec sheet for LCPK2000S-1W-3000K-WH, with the dimensional drawing and the complete trim ordering guide, is available in the Documentation tab.
