Built small, built to disappearThe
LED PUCK #600S is a square mini recessed
puck light measuring only
50 x 50 x 27 mm, with a white trim that sits flush and quietly against cabinet bottoms, shelf undersides and millwork panels. Its depth of
27 mm is what makes it so useful in cabinetry work: it hides inside a shelf or a valance instead of hanging below it, so nothing catches your eye or your hand. The installer cuts a
47 mm hole with a standard hole saw, feeds the low-voltage leads through, and the puck seats in place. Multiply it along a run of uppers and you get an even rhythm of light points instead of one flat, boring glow.
Light quality you can actually seeAt
4000K neutral white, this puck delivers a clean, daylight-leaning tone that reads as bright and modern — ideal over countertops, sinks, work surfaces and retail shelving where you want crisp visibility rather than a cozy amber. The
CRI >80 means colours stay faithful: fabric samples, food prep, cosmetics on a vanity shelf and merchandise in a display case all look like themselves. The narrow
15º beam angle concentrates the
85 lumens into a defined pool, which is exactly what you want for accenting objects, glass shelves and feature niches. Because it is
dimmable, you can tune that accent down for evening ambience with a compatible low-voltage dimming setup.

Wiring, installation and compatibilityThis is a
12V low-voltage puck, so it must be fed by a 12V DC power supply sized for the total load of the pucks on the circuit; at
1 Watt each, you can group a generous number of them on a single small driver and still keep headroom. Keep the connections accessible inside the cabinet or behind a removable panel, and mount the power supply where air can move around it. The
IP 21 rating means indoor, dry to lightly protected locations — cabinet interiors, shelves, closets, display cases — not showers or exterior soffits. For dimming, use a dimming method suited to your 12V supply and test one unit before you cut thirty holes. Within the same family you can mix trims and temperatures room by room: the black-trim
LED puck #600S, or the 24V line with
LED puck 600 square 24V 40K black and
LED puck 600 square 24V 30K black for warmer spaces.
Where contractors put them — and the paperworkKitchen uppers over a quartz counter, a bar back with glass shelving, bathroom vanity cabinets and medicine niches, walk-in closets, home office bookcases, pantry shelves, hotel millwork, pharmacy and boutique display cases, reception desks and trophy cabinets: anywhere a small, bright, focused point of light makes the cabinetry look custom. The 3-year warranty and the
25 000 hrs rated life keep service calls rare, which matters when the fixture is buried in finished millwork. The full
