Built to disappear into the millworkThe #2000 series puck is engineered as a true
mini recessed light, not a surface button. The fixture face measures 50 mm / 1.967", the body 29 mm / 1.142" and the housing 27 mm / 1.063" deep, so it tucks into a cabinet gable, a shelf, a soffit or a stair stringer with very little material to sacrifice. The square black trim sits flush and pairs naturally with matte black faucets, pulls and framed shower glass. Because the whole assembly is compact, it is a favourite of cabinetmakers and finishing carpenters who need light exactly where the eye lands.
Light quality that flatters what you are showingAt
125 lumens from a single
1 watt LED, this is accent lighting done right — the equivalent output of a
20 watt incandescent, without the heat and without the bulb changes. The
25º projection angle keeps the beam tight and intentional: a clean circle on a countertop, a highlight on a bottle, a wash down a stair nosing. The
4000K neutral white colour temperature is the go-to for kitchens, vanities and retail because it renders whites truly white, and the
CRI >80 keeps skin tones, wood and product colours honest. The same puck exists in 3000K and RGB versions if a warmer or colour-changing look suits the project better.

Wiring, dimming and installationDrill or hole-saw a
35 mm / 1.378" opening, feed the leads, seat the puck and you are done. It operates on
12/24 V DC, so it must be fed by a low-voltage LED driver or power supply sized for the total load of the run — at
1 watt per puck you can chain a generous number of them on a modest driver, which is why designers use them in long rows under upper cabinets or along a shelf. The fixture is
dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmable driver and dimmer to take a bright task level down to a soft evening glow. The
IP67 rating and the +90 power factor mean it tolerates damp, splash-prone spots and behaves well on the circuit. Always follow local Canadian electrical code and have the line-voltage side of the driver connected by a qualified electrician.
Where it works, and what goes with itThink kitchen
under-cabinet and puck lighting, bathroom cabinet and vanity niches, closets, pantries, stair treads, bar and wine displays, jewellery and retail
display cabinet lighting, reception millwork, and covered exterior soffits. In restaurants and boutiques, a row of these draws the eye to product instead of flooding the space. The full family lets you keep one look throughout:
LED puck light #2000 square 3000K white for warmer rooms,
LED puck light #2000 square RGB for colour scenes, the
LED puck #2000 louver stainless for a shielded, glare-controlled trim, or the
LED puck light #2000 round 1 side for directional accents. The complete technical PDF spec sheet for this SKU is in the Documentation tab — download it for the drawing, cutout and full specification list before you order.
