A square face for modern designs
The PK2000 family of mini recessed LED pucks comes with round, square, 1-side, 2-side and louver trims. This model wears the square trim in brushed steel, a shape that lines up neatly with square tiles, flat-panel cabinetry, linear stair nosings and rectangular architectural details. The result is a crisp, intentional look: small squares of light that echo the geometry of the space. The brushed steel finish pairs well with stainless appliances, black metal, concrete and natural stone.
Light quality and efficiency
The spec sheet lists 125 lumens for only 1 watt, comparable to a 20-watt incandescent, which makes this puck ideal for accent, guidance and ambient lighting. The 4000K neutral white is clean and contemporary, great with white, grey and black palettes, and the CRI above 80 keeps materials looking true. The 25° projection angle concentrates the light into a defined pool, and dimming lets you tune the intensity to the moment.
Installation, voltage and protection
The spec sheet lists 12/24 V DC: this low-voltage puck is powered by an appropriate LED driver and must never be connected directly to household line voltage. For dimming, use a dimmable driver with a compatible dimmer. It requires a 35 mm cutout (1.378 inches), easy to drill in drywall, soffit panels, wood, risers and cabinetry. With its IP67 rating, it is dust-tight and protected against water, a strong choice for bathrooms, entrances, balconies, decks and steps. Keep the square trims aligned for a polished result, plan the driver location and wiring ahead of time, and have a qualified electrician make the line-voltage connections according to local code.
