LED PUCK #2000 PERSIENNE - LCPK2000P-1W-4000K-BS

SKU: LCPK2000P-1W-4000K-BS

Brand: LEDCO

Tiny fixture, huge effect: this is the LED puck light you reach for when you want light without seeing the light source. Known as a LED puck light, recessed puck, mini disc light or, in Québec, a rondelle LED à persiennes, this model wears a louver trim that shields the diode and pushes the beam forward instead of straight into your eyes. It drops into cabinets, toe-kicks, stair risers, closet ceilings, shelving, display cases and headboards — anywhere a full-size recessed light would be overkill but darkness is not an option. The brushed stainless louver trim gives it a clean, architectural look that suits modern kitchens as much as a commercial reception desk or a retail display. SKU LCPK2000P-1W-4000K-BS.

Under the hood, it runs on 12/24 V DC low voltage and draws only 1 watt while delivering 125 lumens — roughly the punch of a 20 watt incandescent, without the heat or the energy bill that comes with it. The 4000K neutral white output is crisp and clean, perfect over countertops and work surfaces, and the CRI of more than 80 keeps wood grain, stone veining and skin tones looking true. A tight 25º projection angle concentrates the beam exactly where you aim it, the power factor is over +90, and yes — it is dimmable, so you can drop it down to a soft night-time glow. An IP67 protection rating means dust and water are not a threat, and the rated 25 000 hour lifespan is backed by a 3 year warranty.

In a Canadian home, these are the lights that make a kitchen feel finished: under upper cabinets, inside glass-door uppers, along a staircase, in a mudroom bench or a basement bar. In commercial work, they shine in display cabinets, boutique shelving, restaurant millwork and reception counters. Because it uses the same PK2000 housing and 35 mm cutout as the rest of the family, you can mix trims and colours on one job — pair it with the LED puck #2000 persienne in black, warm it up with the 3000K stainless louver puck, add colour with the RGB louver puck, or switch to a directional look with the round 1 side puck in 4000K. Plan your drill holes, pick your trims and light up the details.

Built small, built to last
The PK2000 platform is about discretion. The visible face measures 50 mm / 1.967" across and the body stands 29 mm / 1.142" tall, with 27 mm / 1.063" of insertion depth behind the surface, so it disappears into millwork, cabinet bottoms, stair stringers and display boxes. The louver trim — the "persienne" version — sits over the lens and blocks the direct view of the diode, which is exactly what you want when the fixture is mounted at eye level or above a glossy countertop. This SKU comes in the brushed stainless finish, a neutral tone that blends with appliances, hardware and aluminum profiles.

Light quality you can trust
At 4000K you get neutral white: cleaner and more alert than warm white, without the blue edge of a daylight lamp. It is the temperature most people choose for kitchen counters, work benches, bathroom cabinets and retail shelving where accuracy matters. With a CRI above 80, colours stay honest — whites read white, wood stays warm, product packaging looks like it does in the showroom. The 25º beam is deliberately narrow: it lays a defined pool of light on the surface below instead of spilling everywhere, so a row of pucks gives you rhythm and contrast rather than a flat wash.

Wiring and installation
This is a low voltage puck light: it runs on 12/24 V DC and must be fed by a compatible DC driver or transformer sized for the total wattage of the run — at 1 W per unit, you can chain a generous number of pucks on a single supply. Drill a 35 mm / 1.378 inches hole, run the leads through, make your connections in an accessible junction, and press the fixture home. Keep the driver reachable for service, respect the polarity of the DC feed, and if you want scene control, wire through a dimmer that is rated for your low voltage driver — the fixture itself is dimmable. Because of its IP67 rating, it is at ease in damp settings such as bathroom vanities, shower niches, steam-prone kitchens and covered outdoor millwork.

Applications, family and documentation
Think under-cabinet task lighting in a kitchen renovation, shelf lighting in a boutique, step lights along a basement staircase, accent lighting in a jewellery or bakery display, marker lights in a hallway or a hotel corridor. Contractors like that one cutout serves the whole PK2000 range: round, square, 1 side, 2 side and louver trims in stainless, white or black, in 3000K, 4000K or RGB. Complete or vary your layout with the louver puck in 3000K black, the RGB louver puck in black, or the directional round 1 side puck in 3000K. The full technical PDF for this model is in the Documentation tab — drawing, cutout and specs included — so your installer has everything before the first hole is drilled.
