A scoop trim in brushed nickel
The LED PUCK LIGHT #2000 SCOOP belongs to the #2000 family of mini recessed pucks. Its scoop trim acts like a small hood that keeps the LED out of direct view and aims the light downward, which makes it a natural choice for step lights, stair lights and low wall lighting. The brushed nickel finish matches the hardware found in many Canadian homes, such as door levers, cabinet pulls, faucets and railings, so the fixture looks like a planned detail rather than an add-on.
Crisp neutral light
The PK2000 spec sheet lists 125 lumens for only 1 watt, comparable to a 20-watt incandescent: the right amount of light for guiding people safely without over-lighting a space. The 4000K neutral white gives excellent contrast on stair nosings, tiles and hardwood, and the CRI above 80 keeps finishes looking true. Because it is dimmable, you can set a subtle glow for night-time trips to the kitchen or a brighter level when guests are over.
Installation, voltage and protection
The spec sheet lists 12/24 V DC, so this low-voltage fixture needs an appropriate LED driver and must never be connected directly to household line voltage. For dimming, pair a dimmable driver with a compatible dimmer. It requires a 35 mm cutout (1.378 inches), simple to make in drywall, a stair stringer, a riser or a wood panel. The PK2000 carries an IP67 rating, dust-tight and protected against water, which makes it suitable for bathrooms, entrances and covered outdoor areas as well as dry interiors. Orient the scoop toward the surface you want to light, plan the driver location and wiring before drilling, and have a qualified electrician complete the line-voltage connections in accordance with local code.

Ideas for every project
Install a scoop light on every step of an open staircase, line a long hallway at baseboard height, light the path from a bedroom to the bathroom, or mark the edges of a home theatre or a basement bar. In commercial settings, they guide guests along hotel corridors, restaurant ramps, clinic hallways and condo lobbies.
