Compact length, big flexibility
At 8 ft, the #88 LED profile is easy to handle, carry and install, even in tight spaces. It is designed for surface or suspended installation, and its dorsal rail with butterfly clips allows it to be attached to thin materials that do not have sufficient thickness for conventional brackets. Shelves, furniture panels, display cases and sign boards all become possible supports for a clean line of light, at home or in a commercial space.
Light quality and finish
Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, the profile holds the LED strip in a straight line and is designed to make the light source invisible. It accommodates a variety of white and colour RGB and RGBW LED strips, from warm white on a living room shelf to colour effects behind a bar. The plain aluminum finish suits modern and industrial interiors, and it can be painted to match your decor. For an even softer look, the ordering guide lists an opaque lens and a black lens.
Installation tips
Use the technical drawing of the spec sheet to plan the layout; it gives the dimensions in millimetres and inches. The butterfly clips make the installation easy and secure. Plan the wire exit and an accessible spot for the LED power supply, and finish both ends with end caps, without a hole, with a hole or one of each, as listed in the ordering guide. The profile is suitable for indoor and outdoor use; outdoors, choose an LED strip made for the location. Leave line-voltage connections to a licensed electrician.
