Soft light you can look at up close
Profiles installed at eye level, on shelves, desks or display units, are seen from a short distance. This version, LCPROF-88-8FT-LENS-OPAQ, answers with an opaque lens that diffuses the light of the strip into a smooth line, while the #88 itself was designed to make the light source invisible. The result is a clean, even line of light instead of a row of bright dots, pleasant in a bedroom closet as well as on a boutique shelf.
Mounting on thin supports
The #88 is designed for surface or suspended installation. Its dorsal rail and butterfly clips allow it to be attached to thin materials that do not have sufficient thickness for conventional brackets, such as thin shelves, furniture panels or display boards, and the butterfly clips keep the installation easy and secure. Suspended, it can also create a floating line of light over a desk, a counter or a workbench.
Materials, strips and finishes
Made of 6063-T5 aluminum, the profile can be installed indoors or outdoors. It accommodates a variety of white and colour strips, including RGB and RGBW LED strips. The plain aluminum finish can be painted to match your decor, and the ordering guide lists end caps without a hole, with a hole, or one of each. Plan the layout with the technical drawing, which gives the dimensions in millimetres and inches, keep the LED power supply accessible, and have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician.
