LED ALUMINUM PROFILE #880

LED ALUMINUM PROFILE #880

SKU: LCPROF-880-8FT-WH

Brand: LEDCO

Most LED profiles give you one look and one beam; the LED Aluminum Profile #880 gives you a system. This architectural LED aluminum channel offers a wide choice of optics and specially developed hardware that lets you rotate the luminaire and aim the light, even after installation is complete. Searched as an aluminum extrusion, an extruded aluminum profile or an aluminum profile for LED strip lighting, the #880 is made for designers, cabinetmakers and contractors who want linear lighting with clean, straight lines in offices, retail spaces, galleries, kitchens and custom millwork.

This SKU, LCPROF-880-8FT-WH, is the 8 ft length in a white finish. The profile measures 42.0 mm by 42.0 mm (1.650 in by 1.650 in), and its straight, clean lines give a modern look to any decor. The ordering guide of the 880 series lists several flat lenses (one of them opal), a black lens, a concave diffuser designed to hide the light source while keeping the profile in the foreground, and high-efficiency reflectors for one or two LED engines. The series is designed to meet North American woodworking standards and is covered by a 3-year warranty.

Mount it on swivel brackets to aim light at a feature wall in a Toronto boutique, suspend it over a boardroom table in Calgary, recess it in a drywall ceiling with the gypsum groove accessory or build it into custom millwork in a Vancouver kitchen. Because the light can be redirected after installation, the #880 keeps up with new layouts, new displays and new artwork. Choose your optics, choose your mounting, and get a white LED profile that works as hard as your design.

A profile built around optics
The 880 series was developed around a simple idea: one profile, many ways to shape the light. Its various lenses let you customize the light projection angle, and combining them offers a lighting distribution tailored to your needs. The ordering guide lists several flat lenses, including an opal lens, plus a black lens and a concave diffuser that hides the light source while keeping the profile itself in the foreground. High-efficiency reflectors are offered in a single-channel version for one LED engine and a double-channel version for two.

Adjustable after installation
The hardware of the #880 was specially developed to let you rotate the luminaire and guide the light source according to the circumstances. The ordering guide lists a swivel bracket kit and loop swivel brackets in red, pink, cyan, black, blue, white, green, transparent or orange, with a maximum length of 96 inches using loop swivel brackets. In a shop or a gallery, you can re-aim the light when the displays change, without taking the fixture down.

Suspended or recessed
For pendant installations, the series offers a suspension kit and a type B double-channel suspension kit with 15 ft aircraft cable; canopies, with a remote driver plate or an integrated driver, are only available with the suspension bracket. For a flush ceiling, a gypsum groove for 1/2 in drywall, in 4 ft lengths, is listed. Corners at 90° (6 x 6 in, aluminum or black) are available with joiners ordered separately, along with a type B straight joiner, and custom lengths come by sections of 2 to 240 inches.
