Why choose the opaque-lens version
An open channel shows every single LED on the strip. An opaque lens turns those points into a soft, even glow, which makes a real difference when people look straight at the fixture. That is why this version of the aluminum profile #81 is ideal above desks, reception counters, dining tables and retail displays, where the line of light sits right in the field of view. The lens also closes the channel for a neat, finished appearance from every angle.

Large-format aluminum construction
The #81 is a large-format suspended LED profile designed for commercial and architectural projects. Its 25×25mm square cross-section leaves generous room inside for a wide range of LED strips and gives the heat produced by the LEDs a large aluminum mass to spread into, for excellent heat dissipation. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum and finished in black, it has the clean, solid look expected from an architectural fixture, not a makeshift strip installation.

Installation tips
Choose between surface mounting, directly on the ceiling or wall, and suspended mounting with dedicated suspension kits for a floating line of light. Plan the location of your LED driver and the route of the power feed first, install and test the LED strip inside the channel, then put the opaque lens in place to close the profile. For any line-voltage connection, call on a licensed electrician. Projects with special dimensions or requirements can benefit from the custom fabrication that is available.
