A large-format suspended LED profile
The aluminum profile #81 is part of the 81 series, a range of large square LED profiles designed for commercial and architectural projects. Where slim channels are meant to disappear under a cabinet, this one is meant to be seen: its 25×25mm square body draws a bold, geometric line that reads as a finished linear light fixture once your LED strip is in place. It suits residential and commercial projects alike, from loft-style condos and home offices to showrooms, restaurants and corporate lobbies.

Construction and heat management
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum, an alloy commonly chosen for architectural extrusions. Beyond its clean looks, the aluminum body works as a heat sink: the roomy square cross-section spreads and dissipates the heat produced by the LED strip, which is key to stable light output and long LED life. The black finish gives the fixture a contemporary, high-contrast look, and an opaque lens is available when you want a softer, more uniform glow instead of visible LED dots.

Installation and mounting
You have two ways to install it. Surface mounting places the profile directly on a ceiling or wall for a clean continuous run, while suspended mounting with dedicated suspension kits creates a floating line of light over desks, counters, tables and islands. Before installing, plan the route of the power feed and the location of the LED driver, clean the inside of the channel before applying your strip, and make sure the ceiling structure can support the suspension points. For line-voltage connections, work with a licensed electrician. When a project calls for something special, custom fabrication is available.
