A profile that becomes a light fixture
The #81 is not a discreet under-cabinet channel: it is a large-format LED profile meant to be displayed, suspended in the room or mounted on the ceiling as a luminaire in its own right. Designed for commercial and architectural projects, it is just as convincing in a home renovation. In its aluminum finish with an opaque lens, it gives a bright, uniform linear look that suits a corporate lobby, a retail space or an open-concept living area.

Construction and light quality
The profile is made of 6063-T5 aluminum and has a 25×25mm square cross-section. That generous section accommodates a wide range of LED strips and gives the heat they produce plenty of aluminum to spread into, for excellent heat dissipation and a longer, more stable life for your LEDs. The opaque lens diffuses the light so that the strip no longer looks like a row of dots, a detail that matters when the fixture hangs at eye level or in plain view above a work surface.

Installation
Two options are possible: surface mounting directly on a ceiling or wall, or suspended mounting with dedicated suspension kits for a floating effect. Decide where the LED driver will go and how the power feed will reach the profile, install the strip and test it before putting the opaque lens in place, and check that the ceiling can support the suspension points. Have a licensed electrician handle any line-voltage connection. If your layout calls for special lengths or details, custom fabrication is available.

Applications and documentation
Use it for linear pendant lighting over office workstations, boardroom tables, store checkouts, café counters, kitchen islands or a garage workshop.
