Give your lighting room to move. The ATK08-WH is an 8-foot single circuit track lighting rail in white, part of Liteline's ATK series of extruded aluminum track. Call it what you like — a track light rail, lighting track, track bar or mounting channel for track lighting heads — it's the backbone that carries your spotlights and lets you slide, aim and re-aim them any time you rearrange a room, a display or a workstation. It's built for both homes and businesses, which makes it a favourite for commercial lighting jobs, retail walls, galleries, kitchens and open-concept living spaces where one fixed ceiling box simply can't cover everything.

The ATK series is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars, so the rail stays straight and the contacts stay solid run after run. A polarity groove on the face of the track marks the location of the grounding conductor, which takes the guesswork out of orienting sections and connectors. This is a single circuit power distribution system: single hot and neutral conductors rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, with copper electrical conductors concealed in a thermo-plastic, low-profile track section. The ATK08 measures 92 1/8" (2340mm) excluding end caps, with a compact 5/8" (16mm) by 1 3/8" (35mm) profile, and the white finish disappears against most painted ceilings. It is cULus listed and backed by a 5-year warranty.

This 8-foot length is the workhorse for long sightlines: retail shelving and merchandise walls, restaurant and café seating, office and boardroom ceilings, salons, showrooms, art walls, basements and kitchen islands in Canadian homes and condos. The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, and suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately. It is compatible with all A-Line and Juno style track fixtures, accessories and connectors — including LED heads such as the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-WH in matching white, or the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-BK for contrast. Built to stay straight and stay connected
The ATK series is an extruded aluminum track designed for use with A-Line track fixtures, and the ATK08-WH is the 8-foot nominal length in a white finish. The extrusion is made of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support that holds 12 gauge round bus bars — that combination is what keeps a long track lighting rail from sagging or twisting while keeping the electrical contacts firmly aligned. A polarity groove is located on the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, so every section, joiner and power feed in a multi-piece run lines up the same way. Copper electrical conductors are concealed inside the thermo-plastic, low-profile track section, giving you a clean, discreet channel rather than exposed wiring.

Electrical and installation details
This is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, which leaves plenty of headroom for a full row of LED heads on one run. The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware; suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, such as hollow stem rods, suspension rod kits, aircraft cable sets with canopy or a sloped ceiling canopy kit. Power can be brought in several ways depending on your ceiling: live end power feed, wired end power feed with plug-in cord, center feed, monopoint feed, conduit feed, or 'L', 'I', 'T' and 'X' connectors to shape a run around a room. Single circuit current limiters with 1~14 amp options are also available when a job calls for them. Wiring should always be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with local Canadian codes.

Compatibility and system building
The track system is compatible with all A-Line and Juno style track fixtures, accessories and connectors, so you are not locked into a single head. Compatible LED track fixtures listed for this system include APOLLO LED, SORA LED, ATLAS, DELTA, FLEX, FOCUS, TEARDROP, DINE and the Flight family, along with heads such as the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-WH and the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-BK. Sections can be joined with an 'I' connector or a flexible connector to follow a hallway or wrap a corner, and a 12-foot run can be built from an 8-foot section plus a 4-foot section like the ATK04-BN with a joiner. Matching finishes are offered in the same 8-foot length: ATK08-BN in brushed nickel and ATK08-SL in silver.
