The LL Series track section TK6002-SL from LITELINE is a 2-ft, single-circuit track lighting rail in a clean silver finish — the classic aluminum rail people simply call a lighting track, a track light bar or a track rail. It's the backbone of a track system: you mount the rail, feed it with power, then clip on as many track light heads as your layout needs and slide them along the length to light art, a kitchen island, a display wall or a work surface. Because the heads move, your lighting plan can change with the furniture, the season or the merchandise, without touching the ceiling again.

This section is extruded aluminum with 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction and 3⁄64" PVC insulators holding 12 gauge flat conductor wiring, so the copper conductors stay concealed in a low-profile insulating thermoplastic cross-section. Its system electrical rating is 20A, 120V, 60Hz: solid, flat, integral conductors rated for 20 amps per branch circuit on a standard residential line. The polarity groove on the face of the track shows you exactly where the grounding conductor sits, which makes head orientation foolproof. The TK6002-SL is an extruded aluminum track section designed for light residential applications and small commercial projects. The extrusion uses 1⁄32" die cast aluminum construction with 3⁄64" PVC insulators that hold 12 gauge flat conductor wiring in place. The copper electrical conductors are concealed inside an insulating thermoplastic low-profile rack cross-section, so nothing is exposed once the rail is mounted. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor — a small detail that saves time when you're installing several track light heads and want them all facing the same way. The silver finish keeps the rail visually quiet against white, grey or wood ceilings.

Electrical and installation details
This is a single-circuit track for 120V applications. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for 20 Amps per branch circuit, and the system electrical rating is 20A, 120V, 60Hz. Track lighting is a single-circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways: you bring power to the rail once, then every head you clip on draws from that same circuit. Power can be introduced at the end of the run with a live-end, at the end from a junction box with a live-end and canopy, from a receptacle with a wired-end, or anywhere along the rail with a center feed that includes a canopy cover. A live-end conduit feed with a 7⁄8" knockout is also available for top or end feed. As always, sizing the number of heads to the 20-amp branch circuit and following local code is part of a clean install; any permanent wiring should be done by a qualified electrician.

Accessories and compatibility
The LITELINE track system is compatible with all LITELINE track accessories and connectors, and sections can be joined together using any of the compatible track connectors. Shape the run you need: IC6101 I-connector joins two sections at 180°, LC6102 L-connector at 90°, TC6103 T-connector joins three sections at 90°, XC6104 X-connector joins four sections at 90°, and FC6105 flexible connector links two sections at varying angles for offset ceilings. For feeds, choose LE6110 live-end, LE6111 live-end with canopy, WE6110 wired-end, CF6108 center feed or CA6106 live-end conduit feed. Finish the run with the TK6000-END end cap. To drop the rail below a high or sloped ceiling, use the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit for track suspension (ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware included), RODR62 to suspend track from the ceiling, or RODF62 for track fixtures.
