The ATK series is an extruded aluminum track designed for use with A-Line track fixtures, available in 2', 4', 6', 8' and 12' nominal lengths. This ATK08-BK is the 8-foot version in black. The extrusion is constructed of extruded aluminum with a PVC bus bar support that holds 12 gauge round bus bars, and a polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor. That groove is a real time-saver on site: you can confirm orientation at a glance before joining sections, so every fixture on the run faces and powers correctly the first time.

Electrical and installation details
This is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed inside a low-profile thermo-plastic track section — clean looking and safe. The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, directly to the ceiling or to a suitable structure. If you want the track to float below the ceiling, suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, such as hollow stem rods, sloped ceiling canopy kits or aircraft cable suspension kits. Power feeds, connectors and current limiters are ordered separately too, which lets you configure straight runs, L, T or X layouts, live end or center feeds, and plug-in cord feeds where no junction box is available.
