The ATK series is an extruded aluminum track built for A-Line track fixtures, offered in 2', 4', 6', 8' and 12' nominal lengths; this SKU is the 4' section. The extrusion is made of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars, and a polarity groove on the face of the track shows you exactly where the grounding conductor sits. It is a single circuit power distribution system with single hot and neutral conductors rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, with copper electrical conductors concealed in a low-profile thermo-plastic track section. It is cULus listed and backed by a 5 year warranty. Surface mounting is done with the supplied mounting hardware, and suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately.

The ATK track is not a flimsy channel. It is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a PVC bus bar support that holds 12 gauge round bus bars, which keeps the conductors firmly aligned every time you twist a head into place. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, so orientation stays consistent from section to section on a long run. The Brushed Nickel finish (the BN in ATK04-BN) is a soft, satin-toned metal look that blends with stainless appliances, brushed hardware and modern trims, while the low-profile section keeps the rail visually light on the ceiling.

Electrical and installation details
This is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed inside the thermo-plastic track section. The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware; suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, such as hollow stem rods, suspension rod kits, aircraft cable sets with canopy or a sloped ceiling canopy kit. You will also need to choose a power feed and connectors for your layout: single circuit 'I', 'L', 'T' and 'X' connectors, live end and wired end power feeds, a center feed, a monopoint feed and flexible connectors are all part of the ATK accessory family, along with single circuit current limiters offering 1~14 amp options.
