The ATK02-SL from LITELINE is a 2-foot single circuit track lighting section in a clean Silver finish — the backbone of any A-Line track system. People search for it under many names: track rail, track lighting bar, track lighting heads rail, spotlight track, or simply a 2' track section. Whatever you call it, its job is simple and brilliant: carry power along the ceiling so you can clip on, slide and aim as many track heads as your layout calls for, then change your mind next season without touching a single wire. It's the go-to solution for kitchen islands, art walls, retail displays, offices and any space where fixed pot lights just don't offer enough flexibility.

This is extruded aluminum track built to last, constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars, and a polarity groove on the face of the track to show exactly where the grounding conductor sits. The single circuit power distribution system carries single hot and neutral conductors rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V, with copper electrical conductors concealed in a thermo-plastic, low-profile section — so you get serious capacity in a slim, discreet profile measuring 5⁄8" (16mm) by 1 3⁄8" (35mm). The ATK02 section measures 20 1⁄8" (511mm) excluding end caps. It is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, and suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately. It is cULus listed and backed by a 5-year warranty.

Built from solid extruded aluminum
The ATK series is an extruded aluminum track designed for use with A-Line track fixtures, offered in 2', 4', 6', 8' and 12' nominal lengths — this model being the 2-foot version in Silver. The extrusion is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a PVC bus bar support that holds 12 gauge round bus bars, a build that keeps the conductors perfectly aligned so every head you clip in makes clean, reliable contact. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, which takes the guesswork out of orienting sections and connectors during installation. At 5⁄8" (16mm) tall and 1 3⁄8" (35mm) wide, the track rail stays visually discreet against a ceiling, letting the light — not the hardware — be the feature.

Electrical capacity and safety
This is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Its single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps, meaning 2400 watts per circuit at 120V — far more headroom than a full run of modern LED track heads will ever ask for, which is exactly why LED makes track lighting so attractive today. The copper electrical conductors are concealed inside a thermo-plastic, low-profile track section, keeping live parts safely tucked away. The product is cULus listed and comes with a 5-year warranty. Installation, connectors and suspension
The track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, so a straight run on a ceiling or a soffit goes up quickly. To shape your layout, the series offers a single circuit 'I' connector (ATKC01), a flexible connector (ATKC05), an 'L' and 'I' power feed connector (ATKP02), a 'T' power feed connector (ATKP03) and an 'X' power feed connector (ATKP04-1C). Power can come in through a live end power feed (ATKP09), a center feed (ATKP08), a live end power feed with canopy cover (ATKP11), a monopoint power feed (ATKP109), a wired end feed with 15' plug-in cord (ATKP10) or conduit feeds (ATKP06, ATKP06R). For suspended installs, look at the RODR 12" hollow stem rod, the RODF suspension rod kit, the ATKM420 track suspension kit with 180" aircraft cable, the ATKM421 universal kit with 250" AC, aircraft cable sets (A-BEAM-10AC-xx, A-BEAM-20AC-xx) and the ATKA250 4.75" sloped ceiling canopy kit for down-rods 2"-96".
