ORBIT 4" ROTATABLE GIMBAL - SCP4S-9W-CCT-BN

ORBIT 4" ROTATABLE GIMBAL - SCP4S-9W-CCT-BN

SKU: SCP4S-9W-CCT-BN

Brand: LITELINE

Point your light exactly where it matters. The ORBIT 4" Rotatable Gimbal, model SCP4S-9W-CCT-BN, is a square-trim LED gimbal recessed light — what most people call a pot light, a directional downlight or an adjustable recessed downlight — finished in warm brushed nickel. Its aluminum head turns a full 360° and tilts up to 80°, so a single row of fixtures can wash an art wall, graze a stone fireplace, highlight a kitchen island or simply throw even, comfortable light across a room. Homeowners reach for it during renovations, contractors specify it for retrofit jobs, and shop or office owners use it wherever a fixed downlight just can't aim where the merchandise is.

Behind the clean square trim is a 9 watt LED module delivering up to 1010 lumens — up to 112 lumens per watt — with a beautiful typical CRI of 96 that makes skin tones, wood grain and paint colours look true. A 5-position CCT switch lets you choose between five selectable colour temperatures: 2700 K (868 lumens), 3000 K (927), 3500 K (971), 4000 K (1010) and 5000 K (982), so every room in the house can match without ordering different parts. It runs on 100-135V AC, 60Hz, dims smoothly from 100% to 10% on standard TRIAC/ELV dimmers, and is Class II, Energy Star qualified, Title 24 compliant and cETLus certified, with LM79 and LM80 testing behind it. The hole cut is Ø 4¼" (108 mm), it is airtight, suitable for wet locations, approved for direct contact with insulation, rated for -40°C to 40°C, projected at 70% output at 50,000 hours and backed by a lifetime warranty.

This LITELINE fixture shines in kitchens, hallways, bathrooms and finished basements, on vaulted ceilings and in exterior soffits where Canadian weather demands a wet-location rating — and it works just as well in boutiques, clinics and small offices. Two spring-loaded clips grip any ceiling material, three quick-connect push-in terminals speed up wiring, and a 15" FT6 cable with 3-pin DC connector is approved for plenums and suspended ceilings. Built to aim, built to last
The ORBIT square gimbal is built around a durable aluminum body with 360° rotation and 80° tilting, so the light source can be redirected long after the ceiling is closed up. The brushed nickel (BN) trim adds a soft metallic accent that blends with stainless appliances and modern hardware, while the compact profile — 4 3⁄16" (106 mm) trim depth dimension, 3 15⁄32" (88 mm) and 4 15⁄16" (125 mm) body dimensions, and a 4¼" (108 mm) hole cut — keeps the fixture discreet in the ceiling plane. It is offered in round and square shapes; this SKU is the square version.

Light quality you can see
The 9 watt LED module maintains uniform intensity and produces up to 1010 lumens through a lens that creates a 36° beam spread — tight enough for accenting, wide enough for general downlighting when fixtures are spaced in a grid. A typical CRI of 96 is well above what most recessed lights offer, which matters in kitchens, bathrooms, retail displays and anywhere colour accuracy counts. The 5-position colour selectable switch covers 2700 K, 3000 K, 3500 K, 4000 K and 5000 K, with measured output of 868, 927, 971, 1010 and 982 lumens respectively, so you can fine-tune warmth room by room from a single box.

Driver, dimming and wiring
Power comes from an extruded aluminum hardwire box housing a 210 mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver with 100-135V, 60Hz AC input. Three "quick connect" push-in terminals make wiring fast on site, and a 15" FT6 rated cable with a 3-pin DC connector links driver to fixture — approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings. Dimming runs from 100% down to 10% with industry standard TRIAC/ELV dimmers. Two spring-loaded clips let the housing snap into any ceiling material, making this an easy retrofit in existing 4" openings.
