Construction and finishThe LEDBAR series is built around a durable extruded aluminum frame topped with a frosted smooth lens. That combination does two jobs at once: the aluminum acts as a heat sink for the integrated LED strip, and the frosted lens diffuses the diodes into one continuous line of light, so you never see dots reflected in a glossy backsplash or a glass shelf. At 1-5/16" (33 mm) wide and only 1" (25 mm) high, this
linear under cabinet bar tucks behind the face frame of most upper cabinets and stays out of sight. Mounting hardware is provided for standard horizontal surfaces and for vertical wall surfaces, which makes it just as easy to hide the bar under a shelf as it is to mount it on the inside wall of a cabinet or a cove.
Light qualityThis SKU is the 4000 K, 90 CRI version: a neutral, crisp white that keeps stainless steel, white quartz and pale wood looking clean rather than yellow. The
90+ CRI rating is the detail that sells the fixture — colours, food, fabrics and makeup read accurately, which matters in a kitchen, a bathroom vanity area or a retail display case. The 9" model produces 235 lumens at 4000 K from 3 W, with a 160° beam spread that spreads light across the full depth of the counter instead of punching a narrow pool. Across the family, efficiency reaches up to 111 lumens per watt and up to 1800 lumens, so you can mix lengths in one project and keep the same look.
Electrical, dimming and installationA silent, non-flicker electronic LED driver is built right into the housing, running on 120 V line voltage — no remote transformer, no low-voltage wiring to plan. The fixture dims 100~0% with industry-standard
TRIAC, ELV and incandescent dimmers, so it works with the dimmers already common in Canadian homes. Connection is 3-wire, and a joiner is included so you can link up to 10 units in a single run. Keep in mind that a power feed is required and sold separately, and that the on-body on/off switch found on longer LEDBAR lengths is not provided on 9" models. Operating range is -10°C to 40°C with a maximum operating temperature of 40°C, power factor is greater than 0.9 and THD is under 15.

Applications, compatibility and documentationThink short runs where a longer bar simply will not fit: over a bar sink, inside a glass display cabinet, under a floating shelf, in a pantry, along a kitchen cove, inside a jewellery or retail showcase, or in a closet (approved under NFPA 70, NEC section 410.16 (A)(1), with a minimum 6" clearance to combustible materials maintained at all times). For runs that jump around cabinet gaps, use the
FBT6100-WH-3 12" flexible connector, the
FBT6124-WH-3 24" flexible connector or the
FBT6136-WH-3 36" flexible connector. Prefer another white? The same 9" body is offered as
LEDBAR9-27K-90 in 2700 K,
LEDBAR9-30K-90 in 3000 K and
LEDBAR9-50K-90 in 5000 K, while longer selectable-colour bars such as the
