Built to join fluoro bar fixturesThe FBT6136-WH-3 belongs to Liteline's
Fluoro Bar System family of flexible wire connectors, offered in various lengths and used to join Aluminum Fluoro Bar Systems together. This model is the 36" (914.4mm) version in White. Rather than hard-wiring each fixture back to a junction box, you daisy-chain the bars: one feed in, then a connector from fixture to fixture. The result is fewer holes drilled through cabinet gables, fewer connections to troubleshoot later, and an
undercabinet lighting run that reads as one continuous line of light instead of a patchwork.

Electrical and installation detailsThe conductor is #18 AWG rated 105ºC, sized for the low-current linking duty of a
3-wire fluoro bar system and comfortable with the heat found inside a closed cabinet valance. Input and output are 120V AC 60Hz — line voltage, no driver or transformer required for the connector itself. The ends use push in easy connectors that ensure a tight fit between fixtures, so installation is a matter of aligning the plug and pressing it home until it seats. Always cut power at the breaker before connecting or disconnecting fixtures, respect the total load allowed on the circuit and on the fixture run, and keep the cord clear of hinges, drawer glides and sharp cabinet edges. Small cable clips or staples (used gently, never pinching the jacket) keep the slack tucked up out of sight.
Choosing the right lengthMeasure the actual path the cord will travel — not the straight-line gap — including the drop behind a cabinet gable or the detour around a range hood, outlet box or plumbing chase. When that path runs long, the 36" FBT6136-WH-3 keeps you from stacking connectors end to end. On tighter runs, the
12 in. flexible connector FBT6100-WH-3 and the
24 in. flexible connector FBT6124-WH-3 cover the shorter gaps, and there is nothing wrong with mixing lengths along a single counter. Contractors often keep all three on the truck so a surprise cabinet layout never stalls a service call.
Where it gets used, and the paperworkKitchen counters and islands, pantries, home bars, laundry and craft rooms, garage workbenches — anywhere a
flexible connector has to bridge two light bars discreetly. On the commercial side, think retail shelving and display cases, office kitchenettes, reception millwork, clinic casework and salon stations, all interior and dry, since this connector is not rated for outdoor use.
