Construction and finishThe LEDBAR is built around a durable extruded aluminum frame closed by a frosted smooth lens. Aluminum does two jobs here: it keeps the profile rigid enough to span an open shelf without flexing, and it pulls heat away from the integrated LED strip, which is what protects light output over the long haul. The profile measures 1-5/16" (33 mm) wide by 1" (25 mm) high, with a length of 9" (229 mm) on this model — low-profile enough to hide behind a cabinet valance or a millwork reveal. The frosted lens is the detail installers appreciate most: it blends the diodes into one continuous line, so you see light on the counter instead of a row of dots reflected in a glossy backsplash.
Light quality and dimmingThis version is a 2700 K warm white with 90+ CRI, the combination most people want over wood cabinetry, quartz counters, bathroom vanities and retail displays where colour accuracy sells the product. The lens delivers a 160° beam spread, so a single 9" bar washes a shelf edge to edge rather than punching a narrow stripe. Dimming is full range, 100~0%, using industry standard TRIAC, ELV or incandescent dimmers — the same wall dimmers already common in Canadian homes. The built-in electronic driver is silent and non-flicker, which matters in a quiet kitchen at night and on camera in a shop or studio.

Installation, linking and compatibilityMounting hardware is provided for fixing the bar to standard horizontal surfaces or to a vertical wall surface, so you can mount it flat under a cabinet or upright behind a light valance. A power feed is required and sold separately; the FluoroBar accessory family includes flexible power cords, power cords with 90° connectors, and hardwire boxes, including versions with an on/off switch or a motion sensor. Complete with a joiner, these no-shadow
linking fixtures can be linked up to 10 units in a single run, and flexible 3-wire connectors let you jump over cabinet stiles, corners and sink openings: see the
12" flexible connector FBT6100-WH-3, the
24" flexible connector FBT6124-WH-3 and the
36" flexible connector FBT6136-WH-3. Magnetic mounting clips and 90° mounting clips are also part of the series. Keep in mind that the on-body on/off switch found on other lengths is not included on 9" models, and note that 90 CRI is offered only on the 9" length. Maintain a minimum of 6" clearance to combustible materials at all times.
Applications and documentationThink of the short runs first: a 9" bar over a coffee station, inside a glass display cabinet, under a floating bathroom vanity, in a pantry, along a stair cove or in a closet — it is suitable for use in closets and compliant with NFPA 70, NEC section 410.16 (A)(1). Contractors use several units linked together for a full kitchen counter, boutiques use them shelf by shelf in merchandising units, and cabinetmakers integrate them straight into millwork reveals. If you prefer a longer bar or a selectable colour temperature version, look at the
LEDBAR CCT LEDBAR14-CCT or the
LEDBAR CCT LEDBAR23-CCT; for the same 9" size in a cooler white, see the
