Built small, built to lastThe PK2000 platform was designed for millwork: a miniature housing that hides inside a shelf, a cabinet gable or a soffit and leaves only its trim visible. This version wears the black
louver trim (persienne), an angled baffle that cuts direct view of the diode and softens the glare you get from bare mini pucks. The same platform is offered in round, square, 1-side and 2-side trims and in white, black and brushed stainless, so a designer can keep one lighting language through an entire home or storefront while changing only the face.
Light quality and colourThis SKU is the
RGB version: instead of one fixed white, it produces colour, which is what makes it a favourite for display cases, bars, media walls and feature niches. Output is 125 lumens from 1 watt, the equivalent brightness of a 20 W incandescent, with a CRI above 80 for honest rendering of wood, stone and metal finishes. The 25º projection angle is deliberately narrow: it creates defined pools of light on a counter or a shelf rather than a flat wash, which is exactly the effect you want when you are highlighting objects. The fixture is
dimmable, so the same puck can go from accent to ambience.

Wiring and installationInstallation is straightforward
low-voltage work: drill the 35 mm / 1.378 inches hole, feed the leads, seat the puck and connect it to a 12/24 V DC supply. Because the fixture pulls only 1 watt, many units can share one run, which keeps wiring tidy inside cabinetry. Plan your driver capacity around the total connected wattage and keep a little headroom. The
IP67 rating is the detail installers appreciate most: humidity in a bathroom, steam near a range hood or splashes at a wet bar will not compromise the fixture, and the sealed body also handles dusty environments like workshops and garage cabinets. For dimming, use a control method suited to the DC supply feeding the puck.
Where it works and what goes with itThink kitchen uppers and islands, pantry shelving, walk-in closets, bathroom vanities, staircases and hallway toe-kicks at home; think jewellery and eyewear showcases, wine displays, reception desks, hotel millwork and restaurant bars on the commercial side. Mixing trims is a proven trick: use this louver puck where eyes are at fixture level, and the directional
