LED ALUMINUM PROFILE #145 - LCPROF-145-8FT

LED ALUMINUM PROFILE #145 - LCPROF-145-8FT

SKU: LCPROF-145-8FT

Brand: LEDCO

Easier to handle than a 16 ft length but just as roomy inside, the LED Aluminum Profile #145 in 8 ft gives you the largest profile of the 100 series line in a practical size for the job site. This aluminum profile for LED strip lighting, also called an LED aluminum channel or an aluminum extrusion for LED strips, turns a strip or LED engine into a clean, professional line of light for residential and commercial projects. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use, it was specially designed for outdoor installations and can house all the IP68 LED engines of the line, whatever the lumen package.

This SKU, LCPROF-145-8FT, is the 8 ft length in the aluminum finish (145 in the ordering guide), a handy size for shorter runs, stairs, counters and signage, and easy to bring on site. Made of 6063-T5 aluminum alloy for increased heat dissipation, it increases the lifetime of your LED engine. The new slidable lens system lets the lens slide into the profile, and with a prime lens it is designed to give a uniform light without hot spots. The support rail offers a large range of installation and assembly, both fixed and suspended. The technical drawing lists 26.0 mm and 23.5 mm (0.925 in), and the profile carries a 3-year warranty.

Use it along deck stairs and railings, under a covered patio, over a workbench or a kitchen island, or to light a sign, a shelf or a boutique display. Designed to meet North American woodworking standards, it fits easily into the work of cabinetmakers and contractors across Canada. Need a longer run or a darker look? See the #145 profile in 16 ft or the black #145 profile in 8 ft. Give your LED strip a profile that looks the part, indoors and out.

A big profile in a practical length
The #145 is the biggest profile of the 100 series line, and this 8 ft length makes it easy to bring on site and install. Specially designed for outdoor use, it can house all the IP68 LED engines of the line, so you can choose the lumen package your project needs. With its new sliding lens design and its support rail, it offers a wide variety of installation, from fixed to suspended mounting, turning a simple LED strip into a finished linear LED light.

Light quality and heat management
With a prime lens, the profile is designed to give a uniform light without hot spots, so the strip reads as one continuous line. The ordering guide of the series lists prime, opal, black, focus and square 3D prime lenses, as well as a high efficiency reflector. The 6063-T5 aluminum alloy increases heat dissipation, and its use increases the lifetime of your LED engine.

Installation and accessories
For fixed mounting, the ordering guide lists surface brackets (1-side, 2-side, 90° and 45°), a phantom bracket and a magnetic kit; to aim the light, a swivel bracket 180° or a heavy duty swivel bracket. For a suspended LED profile, add the suspension kit with a canopy (remote driver canopy plate, integrated driver canopy or integrated driver and suspension kit) in aluminum, black or white; canopies are only available with the suspension bracket. A gypsum groove accessory (1/2 in, 4 ft) allows a recessed installation in drywall, and 90° corners (6 x 6 in) and a straight joiner connect several sections; joiners are ordered separately. Have any line-voltage connection made by a licensed electrician.
