ATK SERIES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS - ATK06-BK

SKU: ATK06-BK

Brand: LITELINE

Give your lighting the freedom to move. The ATK06-BK is a 6-foot single circuit track lighting section from LITELINE's ATK series, finished in black (BK), designed to carry A-Line style LED track heads anywhere you need them along the run. People search for it under many names — track rail, track bar, track lighting track, lighting rail, or simply "6 ft track" — and it all points to the same thing: an extruded aluminum channel that feeds power to adjustable heads so you can aim light exactly where the work, the art or the merchandise is. Because the ATK series is built for both homes and businesses, it lands just as naturally over a kitchen island as it does in a boutique, a gallery or an office.

This is a single circuit power distribution system, with single hot and neutral conductors rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps (2400 watts per circuit) at 120V — plenty of headroom to load up a full run of LED heads. The extrusion is 0.06" aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support holding 12 gauge round bus bars, and the copper conductors stay concealed in a low-profile thermoplastic track section, so all you see is a clean black line on the ceiling. A polarity groove on the face of the track shows you exactly where the grounding conductor sits, which makes head installation fast and foolproof. The ATK06 measures 68 1/8" (1730 mm) excluding end caps, it is cULus listed, and it is backed by a 5 year warranty.

Surface mount it with the supplied hardware in a living room, hallway, kitchen, basement studio, retail shop, restaurant, salon or office — or suspend it with accessories ordered separately when you are working with high or sloped ceilings. The ATK06-BK accepts all A-Line® and Juno® style track fixtures, accessories and connectors, so your head selection stays wide open: pair it with the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-BK for a matching black finish, or mix in the 8.5W LED track head ATF7509-DTW-38-WH. Need a different look or a shorter run? See the same track in white ATK06-WH or the 4-foot ATK04-BN. Plan your run, add your heads, and take control of your light.

Built to last, built to disappear
The ATK series track is an extruded aluminum channel designed specifically for use with A-Line track fixtures, and it is offered in 2', 4', 6', 8' and 12' nominal lengths. This SKU is the 6-foot black version. The body is constructed of 0.06" extruded aluminum with a 0.045" PVC bus bar support that holds 12 gauge round bus bars, a combination that keeps the section rigid over its full span while staying visually slim on the ceiling. A polarity groove runs along the face of the track to indicate the location of the grounding conductor, so every head you snap in goes in oriented correctly the first time. The black finish reads as a deliberate design line against white drywall, and it quietly blends into dark ceilings in restaurants, lounges and retail spaces.

Electrical and safety
The ATK06-BK is a single circuit power distribution system designed to supply lighting units flexibly. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for a maximum capacity of 20 Amps, meaning 2400 watts per circuit at 120V — with modern LED track heads drawing only a handful of watts each, that capacity lets you run a long, dense row of fixtures on one circuit. The copper electrical conductors are concealed inside the thermoplastic, low-profile track section, keeping live parts protected and the profile clean. The product is cULus listed and carries a 5 year warranty.

Installation and compatibility
Installation is straightforward: the track is surface mounted using the supplied mounting hardware, fastened to the ceiling or to a suitable structure, then energized through a power feed. Suspended mounting is available with accessories ordered separately, including hollow stem rods, sloped ceiling canopy kits and aircraft cable suspension kits — useful in lofts, open-concept basements and commercial ceilings that are too high for surface mounting. Runs are joined and powered with single circuit connectors and feeds such as the 'I' connector, 'L'/'I', 'T' and 'X' power feed connectors, flexible connector, live end and wired end feeds, center feed and monopoint feed, plus current limiters with 1~14 amp options when a project calls for restricted circuit loading. Note that the 12-foot option is not available in the US; an 8-foot section combined with a 4-foot section and a joiner achieves the same 12-foot run. Fixture-wise, the track system is compatible with all A-Line® and Juno® style track fixtures, accessories and connectors — including LED heads from the APOLLO, SORA, ATLAS, DELTA, FLEX, FOCUS, DINE, TEARDROP and Flight families.

Where it earns its keep, and what's in the documentation
Think of a Montréal condo where one run over the kitchen counter replaces three separate fixtures, a Toronto retail wall where heads are re-aimed every time the display changes, a photography studio, a church, a dental clinic reception, or an office corridor that needs accent light without cutting ceiling holes. Track is also the fastest fix in older Canadian homes with a single ceiling box and no budget for new wiring. Want to extend or match an existing installation? The same 6-foot section is available as ATK06-BN in brushed nickel and ATK06-SL in silver, and compatible LED track heads like the ATF7509-DTW-38-BK drop right in. The full ATK06-BK spec sheet, with technical drawings, the ordering guide and the complete accessory list, is available in the Documentation tab.
