Power comes from an extruded aluminum hardwire box housing a 170mA dimmable Class II electronic LED driver with 100-135V AC input. An 18" (457 mm) FT6 rated cable with a DC 2.1 connector links the driver to the fixture and is approved for use in plenums and suspended ceilings, so the box can sit off to the side in the joist bay.
