Solid extruded constructionThe LL Series track is built from
extruded aluminum with a 1⁄32" die-cast aluminum body, so the rail stays straight over long spans and holds its shape when heads are slid and repositioned again and again. Inside, 3⁄64" PVC insulators hold flat 12-gauge conductor wiring in place, and the copper electrical conductors are concealed in an insulating thermoplastic low-profile cross-section. The result is a discreet
track rail only ¾" (21mm) tall and 1 3⁄8" (35mm) wide that reads as a clean architectural line on the ceiling rather than a piece of hardware. The silver finish of the
TK6006-SL blends easily with stainless appliances, aluminum window frames and modern grey or white ceilings.
Electrical and installation detailsThis is a
single-circuit track designed for 120V applications, with a system electrical rating of 20A, 120V, 60Hz. Single hot and neutral conductors are rated for 20 amps per branch circuit, which leaves comfortable room for a full row of modern LED track heads on one run. A polarity groove on the face of the track indicates the location of the grounding conductor, a small detail that saves time and prevents mistakes when several sections are installed end to end. Track lighting is a single-circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways, so the rail can be surface-mounted to the ceiling or suspended with a stem rod kit where the ceiling is high, sloped or finished in concrete.

Accessories and compatibilityThe LITELINE track system is compatible with all LITELINE track accessories and connectors, and sections can be joined together using any of the compatible connectors. Feed options include the CA6106 live-end conduit feed (with 7⁄8" knockout) for top or end feed, the CF6108 center feed with canopy cover that powers the track anywhere along its length from a junction box, the LE6110 live-end, the LE6111 live-end with canopy and the WE6110 wired-end that powers the track from a receptacle. To shape a run, use the IC6101 I-connector at 180°, the LC6102 L-connector at 90°, the TC6103 T-connector for three sections at 90°, the XC6104 X-connector for four sections at 90°, or the FC6105 flexible connector for varying angles. Finish the run with the TK6000-END end cap, and suspend it with the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit (ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware included), the RODR62 rod to suspend track from the ceiling or the RODF62 rod for track fixtures. Accessories are sold separately.
Where it works and documentationThink kitchen islands and peninsulas, dining nooks, stairwells, home offices, finished basements, art walls, boutique displays, café counters, salon stations and small showrooms. One 6-ft run can replace several fixed fixtures while letting you re-aim the light after a renovation or a new layout — a real advantage in Canadian condos and older homes where ceiling boxes rarely sit where you need them. If your project needs more coverage, join this section to another using an I-connector, or match it with the same rail in another finish such as
TK6006-WH white track or
TK6006-BK black track. Prefer a ready-made starting point? Have a look at the
