Solid extruded constructionThe LL Series track is an
extruded aluminum track designed for light residential applications and small commercial projects. The die cast aluminum extrusion is 1⁄32" thick and holds 3⁄64" PVC insulators, which in turn carry the 12 gauge flat conductor wiring. Those flat, solid integral conductors are what make a track rail feel rigid and reliable instead of flimsy — and the polarity groove machined on the face of the track tells you at a glance where the grounding conductor is located, so connectors and heads always go in the right way. The brushed nickel finish of the
TK6004-BN keeps the profile understated against a white or light ceiling.
Electrical and safety detailsThis is a
single circuit track, available for 120V applications, with a system electrical rating of 20A, 120V, 60Hz. The single hot and neutral copper conductors are rated for 20 amps per branch circuit and are concealed inside a low profile insulating thermoplastic rack cross-section. Track lighting is a single circuit electrical distribution system designed to supply power to lighting units in flexible ways: one feed, one circuit, and as many heads as your load calculation allows. Power should always be off at the panel before installing or servicing, and final connection should follow local electrical code — when in doubt, call your electrician.

Connectors, feeds and accessoriesThe Liteline track system is compatible with all Liteline track accessories and connectors, so you can build almost any shape. Join two sections in a straight line with the IC6101 I-connector, turn a corner with the LC6102 L-connector, branch out with the TC6103 T-connector or the XC6104 X-connector, and follow an angled wall or a sloped area with the FC6105 flexible connector. For power, choose the LE6110 live-end, the LE6111 live-end with canopy, the WE6110 wired-end that feeds from a receptacle, the CA6106 live-end conduit feed with 7⁄8" knockout for top or end feed, or the CF6108 center feed, which draws power from a junction box anywhere along the run and includes a canopy cover. Close the open end with a TK6000-END end cap. To drop the track below a high or sloped ceiling, use the TDR62 hollow stem rod kit with ceiling canopy, mounting brackets and hardware, the RODR62 rod to suspend track from the ceiling, or the RODF62 rod for track fixtures. Accessories are sold separately.
Applications, options and documentationA 4-ft section is the sweet spot for a kitchen island, a dining nook, a reading corner, an art wall, a salon station or a display of merchandise near the front window of a small store. Run two sections with an I-connector for a 8-ft sweep down a hallway, or build an L over a corner counter. Matching finishes are available in
black TK6004-BK,
silver TK6004-SL and
white TK6004-WH, and if you'd rather start with a complete package, look at the
