Built for long, even runsThis
LED tape light uses Epistar 2835 SMD chips at a density of 128 LEDs per meter, which is what kills the "string of dots" effect you get with cheaper strips. The PCB is 8 mm wide, so it slips easily into most standard aluminum channels, and it is built with 3 oz. copper — heavier copper moves heat away from the diodes and limits the voltage drop that makes the far end of a long run look dimmer and warmer than the start. The strip is supplied on a 30 m spool and can be cut every 62.5 mm, at each 8-LED mark, so you can follow a cabinet, a cove or a stair stringer to the millimetre.
Light quality you can trustAt
4000K, the light is a clean neutral white — bright and modern without the blue edge of a daylight tone, which is why it works so well over kitchen counters, in bathrooms, in workshops and in retail. The
CRI 90+ rating means colours stay honest: white paint reads white, wood stays warm, merchandise and food look the way they should. With 130 LM/W and a 120º beam angle, output is both efficient and wide, filling a cove or a toe-kick with soft, even light instead of harsh streaks.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, so it needs a low-voltage LED driver sized for the total wattage of your run (9.6 W per meter, plus headroom). Respect the 10 m maximum length per feed: for longer layouts, run separate home runs back to the driver rather than splicing one long line end to end. The strip is
dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimming driver or an inline low-voltage dimmer for mood control in a living room, a bedroom or a restaurant dining room. Clean the mounting surface before sticking the tape, keep it straight, and mount it in an
aluminum profile with a frosted diffuser whenever the strip will be seen — the channel hides the diodes, protects the tape and helps with heat management.
Where to use it and what pairs with itThink under-cabinet and above-cabinet lighting, island overhangs, pantry and closet shelving, bathroom mirror surrounds, ceiling coves, stair nosings, basement bulkheads, bar fronts, retail gondolas, display cases, reception logos and office soffits. The
IP66 construction adds peace of mind in damp areas such as garages, laundry rooms and covered exterior soffits. Need a different look in the same family? Compare the lower-output
