Built for clean, continuous lightThis 24V
flexible LED strip uses
Epistar 2835 SMD chips at a density of
128 pcs per metre, which is what gives the tape its smooth, almost seamless line. The PCB is 8 mm wide — narrow enough to tuck into slim aluminum channels, cove details and cabinet rails — and is built with a
3 oz copper thickness that helps carry heat away from the diodes, an important detail for long runs left on all day. Cut points fall every
62.5 mm (8 LEDs), so you can trim the roll to the exact length of a shelf, a stair riser or a header without wasting material.
Light quality you can seeAt
90+ CRI and
130 LM/W, this strip delivers accurate colour with real efficiency. Countertop quartz reads as quartz, oak stays warm, clothing and packaging keep their true tones — that is why high-CRI tape is the go-to for retail displays, bathroom vanities, art niches and kitchens. The
4000K neutral white on this SKU sits between cozy and clinical: energizing enough for task areas, soft enough for living spaces. The
120º beam angle spreads the output wide, so when the tape is mounted in a cove or under a cabinet the light lands as a smooth wash rather than visible dots.

Wiring, dimming and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, which means it needs a low-voltage driver or power supply sized for the total load: multiply 9.6W per metre by the length you install, then leave yourself headroom. Respect the
10 m maximum run per feed — longer stretches should be fed from both ends or split into separate runs so the far end stays as bright as the first metre. The tape is
dimmable, so pair it with a compatible low-voltage dimming system for cove ceilings and bedrooms. Clean and degrease the mounting surface before pressing the strip down, keep it straight, and mount it in an aluminum profile with a diffuser wherever the tape could be seen directly — it hides the dots, protects the circuit and acts as a heat sink. The
IP22 rating keeps this roll for dry, protected indoor locations.
Applications, options and documentationThink crown-moulding cove lighting in a living room, under-cabinet task light in a kitchen, back-lit bathroom mirrors, closet and pantry shelving, display cases in a boutique, reception desk fronts, hotel corridors, basement stair nosings and garage workbenches. Same strip, other whites:
LED strip 24V 9.6W/m IP22 3500K and
LED strip 24V 9.6W/m IP22 4000K. For a gentler output, the
LED strip 24V 4.8W/m IP22 is the lower-power sibling, while colour-changing projects can use the
LED strip 14.4W/m 24V RGB IP22. The full technical PDF spec sheet is available in the Documentation tab of this page.
