Built for real installationsThis 24V
LED tape light is built on an 8 mm wide printed circuit board with a 3 oz copper layer — a heavier copper weight that pulls heat away from the diodes and helps the strip hold its output over time. The light source is the Epistar 2835 SMD chip, with
128 LEDs per meter packed tightly enough to give a smooth, near-continuous line once it sits behind a diffuser. Cut marks are provided every
62.5 mm, which works out to every 8 LEDs, so you can trim a run to the exact length of a cabinet, a shelf or a cove without wasting material or leaving dark ends.
Light quality that flatters the roomWith a
CRI 90+ and a 4000K neutral white tone, this
LED strip lighting renders colours honestly — important over a countertop where you're prepping food, on a workbench where you're matching wires, or in a display where merchandise has to look like itself. The 120º lighting angle spreads the beam wide, so the light washes a surface instead of pinpointing it, and the efficiency of
130 lm/W means you get a lot of usable light for only
9.6W per meter ±10%. It is also
dimmable, so the same run can be a task light at full output and a soft ambient glow in the evening.

Wiring, dimming and installationEverything runs on
24V DC, so you need a low-voltage driver or power supply rated for your total load: multiply 9.6W by the number of meters, then leave headroom on the supply. Feed runs from one end and keep each continuous run within the
10 m maximum; longer projects should be split into separate runs fed from the source rather than daisy-chained end to end, which keeps brightness even from the first LED to the last. For dimming, use a system compatible with the 24V DC supply you choose. Mount the strip on a clean, dry, degreased surface, and for the best look drop it into an
aluminum profile with a diffuser — the channel acts as a heat sink, hides the diodes and gives you that solid bar of light designers ask for.
Where it earns its placeThe
IP66 rating opens doors that an indoor-only tape can't: soffits and covered entries, garage benches, workshops, laundry and utility rooms, commercial kitchens, coolers and washroom coves. Indoors, it's the go-to for under-cabinet lighting, toe-kicks, open shelving, stair nosings, headboards, home theatres, reception desks and retail display cases. Need a different mood? The same 9.6W/m platform is offered in warm white as
LED strip 9.6W/m 24V 48W 30K IP66, and if you want more punch, look at the
LED strip 19.2W/m 24V 96W 30K IP66. For a lighter accent, the
LED strip 4.8W/m 24V 24W 30K IP66 uses the same 24V system. The complete
