Built to last, not just to glowThis
LED tape light is engineered around
Epistar 2835 SMD diodes mounted on an
8 mm wide PCB with
3 oz copper. That heavier copper layer is the detail installers appreciate: it pulls heat away from the diodes, which protects lumen output and colour consistency over the long haul. With
128 LEDs per meter, the dots sit close enough together to blend into a near-continuous line, particularly behind a frosted lens. The strip carries an
IP66 protection rating, so dust and water jets aren't a problem, and it's
UL listed for confident specification on residential and commercial jobs.
Light quality you can actually seeAt
CRI 90+, this
2700K LED strip renders colour honestly — quartz veining, walnut grain, leather, produce and printed packaging keep their true character instead of going flat or grey. The 2700K tone is the warmest white of the family, close to incandescent, which is why designers reach for it in living rooms, bedrooms, restaurants and hospitality spaces. The
120º lighting angle spreads light wide and evenly, so a single run in a cove or under a cabinet washes the surface below instead of drawing a hard stripe. Efficiency lands at
130 lm/W for a bright result from a modest
9.6W/m draw.

Wiring, cutting and installationThe strip runs on
24V DC, which means a low-voltage power supply is required — size it to your total metres multiplied by
9.6W/m, and keep headroom rather than loading a driver to its limit. Respect the
10 m maximum length per feed; longer layouts should be split into separate runs fed from the source to avoid voltage drop and a dim tail end. Cut only on the marked cut points every
62.5 mm (8 LEDs), then solder or use a compatible connector. Because it's
dimmable, you can pair it with a compatible low-voltage dimming system for everything from full task brightness to a late-evening glow. For a clean finish and better heat transfer, mount the tape inside an aluminum extrusion with a diffuser — it hides the dots, protects the strip and gives edges a crisp architectural line.
Where it works and what pairs with itThink kitchen under-cabinet and toe-kick lighting, bathroom mirror surrounds, closet shelving, cove and tray ceilings, stair and hallway guidance, basement bars, bookcases, retail display cases, jewellery counters, reception desks and restaurant banquettes. If your project needs a different white or a different output, the same platform is offered as
LED strip 24V 9.6W/m IP22 (27K),
LED strip 24V 9.6W/m IP22 (35K) and
LED strip 24V 9.6W/m IP22 (50K); step down to the
LED strip 4.8W/m 24V 24W 30K IP66 for accent-level light or up to the
LED strip 19.2W/m 24V 96W 30K IP66 for high-output coves. The technical spec sheet for this product is available in the Documentation tab for your submittals and electrical plans.
