LED STRIP 14.4W/M (RGB) - LCLS24V-72W-RGB-IP22-30M

SKU: LCLS24V-72W-RGB-IP22-30M

Brand: LEDCO

Paint any room in the colour of the moment with a single run of tape light. This RGB LED strip — also called LED strip lighting, LED tape, ribbon light or simply LED light strips — puts red, green and blue diodes on one flexible circuit board so you can shift from a calm white-adjacent glow to deep blue, hot pink or holiday green without changing a single fixture. Homeowners use it for cove lighting, under-cabinet accents, toe-kicks, stair nosings, headboards and home theatre backlighting, while contractors and small businesses reach for it to outline bars, reception desks, display cases, gaming rooms and feature walls. Model LCLS24V-72W-RGB-IP22-30M is supplied on a long reel so you can plan a whole floor or a full storefront from one continuous roll.

Every metre carries 60 LEDs and draws 14.4W/M on 24V DC, a low-voltage platform that keeps voltage drop under control over long runs and makes the strip safe and easy to handle during installation. The 120º beam angle spreads light evenly instead of leaving dots on the ceiling, and a CRI of 90+ keeps woodgrain, paint and merchandise looking true when you run the strip in its warmer mixes. The PCB measures 10mm wide with 3oz copper for better heat management, it is dimmable, UL listed, rated IP22 for dry and protected indoor locations, and rated for 50 000+ hours of service. Cut marks land every 1000mm and the maximum single run is 10m, so you can size each segment to the cabinet, shelf or ceiling detail in front of you.

Across Canada this tape shows up in basement renovations, condo kitchens, restaurants, salons, gyms, retail displays and office breakout spaces — anywhere a client wants light that changes mood on demand. Pair it with a 24V DC driver and an RGB controller sized to the load, and mount it in an aluminum channel for a clean, finished line of light. Need the same colour-changing output in a protected version for damp or splash-prone spots? Look at the LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP66. Prefer one fixed white? The LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 CCT and the LED strip 4.8W/m 24V IP22 cover those rooms. Roll out your colour, one metre at a time.

Built to bend, built to last
This RGB tape light is built on a 10mm wide flexible circuit board with 3oz copper, a heavier copper weight that pulls heat away from the diodes and helps the strip hold its colour output over time. With 60 LEDs per metre, the RGB packages sit close enough to blend into a continuous line once the strip is tucked into a channel or a cove. The adhesive-backed ribbon follows curves, wraps around cabinet returns and slips into narrow reveals where a rigid fixture would never fit, and the IP22 rating suits dry, protected indoor locations — interior coves, cabinetry, display cases, ceiling details and furniture.

Colour and light quality
Red, green and blue chips on the same board mix into a wide palette of saturated colours and softer pastel blends, all controlled from one low-voltage circuit. The 120º lighting angle throws a wide, even wash on the surface above or behind the strip instead of a row of hot spots, which is exactly what you want for cove and under-cabinet work. A CRI of 90+ means the light renders finishes, food, fabric and skin tones faithfully, a real advantage in retail displays, restaurants and salons where colour accuracy sells. The strip is dimmable, so intensity and mood can be tuned scene by scene.

Wiring and installation
Plan the job around the 24V DC platform: total the metres you intend to power, multiply by 14.4W/M, and choose a driver with enough headroom, then add an RGB controller rated for that same load. Respect the 10m maximum run per feed — longer layouts should be split and fed separately so brightness stays consistent end to end. Cut only on the marked lines every 1000mm, solder or use a four-conductor connector (R, G, B and common) keeping polarity and channel order correct, and mount the tape on a clean, dry surface. An aluminum extrusion with a diffuser lens is strongly recommended: it protects the ribbon, spreads the light and gives the installation an architectural finish. Because the strip runs at low voltage and is UL listed, it integrates cleanly into residential and commercial projects.

Where it works and what else to look at
Think theatre rooms and basement bars, kids' bedrooms and gaming setups, restaurant soffits, bar fronts, hotel corridors, retail shelving and seasonal storefront displays that change colour through the year. For wet, damp or splash-prone applications, the same colour-changing engine is offered in the LED strip 14.4W/m 24V 72W RGB IP66. When a project needs tunable white instead of colour, the LED strip 20W/m 24V 100W IP22 CCT or the LED strip 17W/m 24V dim to warm are natural companions on the same 24V system.
