Built to disappear into the ceiling
The Disclite DL4-12W-WH measures 5¹⁵⁄" (150 mm) across and stands only 1³⁄" (35 mm) tall, so it reads as a soft disc of light rather than a fixture. The body is durable airtight aluminum, which helps pull heat away from the LED module and keeps the fixture stable over its 50,000 hour projected life. The translucent white polycarbonate diffuser lens softens the source for low glare, a real advantage in hallways and bedrooms where people look up at the ceiling. The WH white finish blends with standard ceilings and trims, and the sealed construction is what earns this surface mount LED downlight its wet location rating for ceiling mounting.
Light quality you can actually see
This is a general application fixture with a 12 watt LED module that maintains uniform intensity and produces up to 900 lumens, for up to 75 lumens per watt. Typical CRI is greater than 90, so colours stay honest — important in clinics, change rooms, retail displays and kitchens. The colour selectable switch gives you three field-selectable colour temperatures: 3000 K for a warm residential feel, 3500 K as a neutral middle ground, and 4000 K for a crisper commercial look. The lens delivers a 110° beam spread; photometry at 3000 K shows 260 lux (24 FC) at 3.3' and 65 lux (6 FC) at 6.6', with 71.7% of the luminaire lumens delivered in the 0-60 zone.

Wiring, dimming and installation
The fixture runs on standard 120V line voltage and dims from 100% to 10% with industry standard forward/reverse phase and TRIAC dimmers (contact factory for a listing of compatible dimmers). Mounting hardware is included for both a 4" octagon box and a 4" recessed housing retrofit, so an electrician can go either way on the same job. For retrofit work it drops into RF401, RF402, RF402C and RF405 housings — a fast way to replace aging cans in a condo or office ceiling. Keep in mind that wall mounting is approved only with a 4-inch octagonal box; retrofit can installations are not approved for wall mounting. Accessories are sold separately, including the LC-CRTL-DIM-1 OnCloud Smart Wi-Fi dimmer with ON/OFF press and 7 level touch slider, and the LC-CRTL-3WAY-1 OnCloud Smart Wi-Fi 3-way switch for 3-way or 4-way applications.
