HDWIRE BOX WITH MOTION SENSOR FOR LEDBAR/STRIPE WHITE - ALFT6300-OS-WH

SKU: ALFT6300-OS-WH

Brand: LITELINE

Want your under-cabinet lights to switch on by themselves the moment you step into the kitchen? The Hardwire Box with Motion Sensor (SKU ALFT6300-OS-WH) is a compact junction box designed for LED bar and LED strip lighting, with a built-in motion sensor that detects movement and turns the light on hands-free. It gives a permanent, hardwired connection to your under-cabinet lighting instead of a plug and a visible cord, and adds the convenience of automatic control at the same time.

The box comes in a clean white finish that disappears under white or light-coloured cabinets and millwork. Because it is hardwired, the installation looks built-in: no cord running down the backsplash, no plug taking up an outlet on the counter. The motion detection is especially handy when your hands are full, when you come in for a glass of water at night, or in a closet where you never want to look for a switch. It is a smart way to upgrade LED bar lights and LED tape installed under cabinets, shelves or inside furniture.

In Canadian homes, it shines in kitchens, bathroom vanities, walk-in closets, pantries, laundry rooms and home offices, and it works just as well for commercial millwork in reception desks, displays and break rooms. Pair it with your LED bar or strip installation, ask your electrician to connect it to the supply, and enjoy automatic under-cabinet lighting that is there exactly when you need it.

A hardwire connection with a built-in sensor
The ALFT6300-OS-WH brings two functions together in one small box. First, it is a hardwire box: the supply wires from the wall are connected inside it, so your LED bar or LED strip installation is powered permanently, like a real fixture, instead of plugging into a counter outlet. Second, it includes a motion sensor that switches the light on when someone moves nearby, so the lighting reacts to you instead of waiting for a switch.

Where automatic lighting makes a difference
Under kitchen cabinets, motion activation means the counter lights up as soon as you start cooking, even with flour on your hands. In a walk-in closet or pantry, the light comes on when you open the space and you never leave it burning. In a bathroom vanity or a hallway cabinet, it offers a soft guiding light at night. In commercial millwork, such as a reception counter, a retail display or an office kitchenette, it keeps the space welcoming without anyone having to think about a switch.

Installation tips
Plan the position of the box before the cabinets or shelves are finished, so the supply cable arrives right where the box will sit under the cabinet or inside the furniture. Place it where the sensor has a clear view of the area where people move, and avoid hiding it behind a deep face frame. Always cut the power at the panel before working, and have the connection to the building wiring done by a qualified electrician, according to the electrical code of your province.

A discreet white finish
The white housing blends with white kitchen cabinets, light wood, lacquered millwork and white LED profiles, so the box reads as part of the cabinetry rather than an add-on. Mounted under the cabinet, it stays out of sight from standing height while the sensor keeps watching the work surface.

Care and upkeep
Keep the sensor window clean and free of dust or grease so it detects movement reliably, wiping it gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth with the power turned off. Note the SKU ALFT6300-OS-WH in your project file so you can order the same box for a second run of under-cabinet lights or for another room.
